Twelve cups easy, looks great!
I’ve been looking for an XL size teapot for a while and recently purchased a Denby Halo teapot but returned it as it could only manage 4 cups despite being called extra large, it was great quality though.I saw this London Pottery Extra Large and had a read of the reviews but there weren’t many for the extra large and hardly any photos. After taking the decision to purchase the teapot XL I wanted to share my review to help others in their decision.Firstly I’ve added a good number of photos to show the teapot and the number of mugs it can fill. Secondly, I can confirm that the XL teapot can easily fill 12 mugs of standard and large size. I thought it could perhaps manage 10 mugs but it just kept going. It’s also dribble and drip free which is an awesome bonus as the wife hates me dribbling everywhere..Things to be aware of;The teapot needs to be warmed first before being ready to receive kettle temperature boiling water, a minor thing but worth flagging as I’ve only had teapots I could put boiling water in straight away. The lid has a very specific angle that needs to be respected when inserting it and removing it, if not done correctly it can cause trouble. The weight when full of three litres of water could be a struggle to lift for some, usefully there is a finger lip to support liftingThis is the first week of ownership, if anything good or bad crops up I’ll update this review. So far so good and the fact it fills 12 mugs is perfect for us.

Emergency replacement pot
Its great. I accidentally killed my farmhouse 6 cup pot, looked on Amazon, and fortuitously found the globe pot selling for £15. Sadly, the old diffuser doesn't fit in this one but I'm not complaining - the built-in strainer is adequate. This is another nice London Pottery piece which looks a treat and functions as required. A steal at the price.

Drip-free and stylish
What a bargain this was! We bought one of these teapots six years ago, having searched for a drip-free one. We were delighted with it - it's stylish, easy to handle and brews an excellent cuppa.Unfortunately, the lid somehow became stuck, and when I tried to lever it off the pot broke.I went to order a new one and found that the price had increased considerably. However, Amazon were offering an "as new" one st s £15 discount!I ordered it, as I've learned to trust Amazon implicitly as a vendor, and it was delivered within 24 hours. The pot was still sealed in its box, and apparently discounted by 60% because the box had a small hole in it which had been patched with a strip of tape! The teapot is perfect and we're looking forward to years of service from it.

Great little teapot - 500 ml. The perfect size.
I purchased this for my elderly parents. They love it! It is really well made and the perfect size for two cups of tea. I decided on this one, not only because it had better ratings than other makes, but also because it held slightly more millilitres (around 50 ml). To be honest, without this extra 50 ml, I don't see how the smaller (other) makes of 450 ml can make two cups of tea...not without the 'tide being out' !!!!Highly recommend this product over the other less expensive versions.Thank you London Pottery.

Wonderful Giant Teapot
I love my new giant teapot. I use it half filled for "us" and full capacity when the house is full. Adore the colour. The handle at the front makes pouring so easy. Would love to have a tea cosy to fit it please. So lovely Pottery Company, Please supply that and I will purchase that too. Cannot recommend this highly enough!!

Good teapot but with very small lid
Very nice teapot which makes a good pot of tea and pours well. However, the aperture at the top is very small with therefore a very small lid which has a tiny knob. So quite tricky to remove the lid with large or arthritic fingers and particularly so when the teapot is hot.

Super cute
beige with dotsit’s tiny but size is just right for me cuz I like my tea hot and by the time I’m finished, I’d prefer brewing a new one rather than drink lukewarm tea.I think you can drink 1 mug and about half from this teapot. It’s super cute! very pleased the purchase
