I wanted to put a couple of lights on top of my van for when I go camping, but I didn’t want to drill any holes or to do anything that would block the flexible solar panels that are mounted on the roof. These magnets were the answer for me. They’re extremely strong and I was able to mount the light directly to them with no problem. The nice thing is that when I’m traveling for several days on the highway I can remove them so they don’t increase my wind resistance. These are exactly what I needed.

I love these rubberized magnets with the screw stud to hold my phone in the car, on the boat or on the golf course. In my truck and car I drilled a small hole in the dash and screwed one of these in. It looks like it came with the car and my phone snaps right to it (I put one of the steel plates in the back of my phone case). My phone stays secure and is in easy reach. On the golf course I have done the same. Drilled a small hole in the roof support and snap my phone to it while playing. On the boat the same as in the car. Easy and works perfectly.

These magnets are advertised as holding 30 lbs each. I bought these magnets to hold my phone to the outside of my uniform pocket while at work. I was tired of my cellphone which weighs 8.36 ounces or 0.524lbs from coming out every time I turned my body or bent over. I didn’t even get to my 2nd call or stop and it had already fallen off 3 times.JUNK. Waste of money. Definitely will not hold 30 lbs.

Intend on using these to help organize my workshop, hanging tools and such. My only concern now is that they may be too strong. I'll need to make sure I attach them very securely, otherwise, when trying to pull a tool off, I may just pull the magnet off too!That's actually a good thing. If you have a thing you want to mount or attach with magnets, these are sure to hold that thing.I like magnets in general (they're magic, doncha know!) and I love these magnets in particular.

Bolts were longer than I needed, so I couldn’t use them for what I needed them for. Will keep them for a later project.
