Worth every penny
Definitely keeps my 5 year old busy. Wonderful product. I didn't think it was going to be so much fun but even I enjoy this as a 38 year old!

Lots of cute stickers.
Pros:The stickers in this set are adorable and will make such cute scenes. There are 10 scenic mats and 10 sticker sheets full of cute characters and objects. There are large googly eyes for the whale and whatever, plus medium and small eyes. All you need do is peel the paper off the eye of the character and stick the googly eye on. A stylus is included to help you lift the paper from the stickers and smooth your foil. This is a plastic stylus, but other kits have wooden ones which are actually cuticle/manicure sticks, so if you have those in your cupboard, everyone could have their own. The sticker sheets don't necessarily have a theme, for there is an oakleaf and a flower on the same sticker sheet as the penguin, so the kids will be picking and choosing from all of the sticker sheets to make their scenes. There are 10 of the foil sheet sets that I posted. The foil sheets will be in a repeat color pattern in a nice, snap-to-close envelope; five repeat colors in the left pocket of the envelope and the other five repeat colors in the right pocket. In the picture you'll see the gold sparkle foil with four foil sheets, and the silver sparkle foil with four sheets. The gold and its companion sheets were in the left side of the envelope, repeated 10 times. The silver and its companions were in the right side of the envelope, repeated 10 times. I took all the foil out, combined the colors to make 10 identical stacks of 10 foil sheets, put numbered paper strips between the stacks, and put them back into the envelope. Now a child can take 10 sheets, one of each color, with whichever scene they are working on, and there will be fresh new sheets for the other scenes. I've found from other foil art kits that I have here, the kids will partially use most the foil sheets before we're halfway through with the kit, leaving only those partially used foil sheets for the rest of the scenes, which is not appealing to them, so stickers and scenes are just sitting there waiting, and will probably never be brought to life!Cons: The selection of foil lacks sparkle and could use a pink or a rainbow sheet; you be the judge. The sandcastle doesn't really have a background scene where it would fit in.

It's foil art!
You could spend tons on foil art boxes if you wanted to, or you can pick this one up! It's gonna leave a mess everywhere, because foil art always does, but I will say I'm much happier picking up after my kids knowing that I'm not tossing another $20 in the garbage. This works every bit as well as the more expensive stuff! Great value!

Interesting colors; small backdrops; few stickers
This set comes with 10 each of 10 foil colors (I got one extra foil sheet but that was definitely accidental); two of the foils (gold and silver) are holographic. The colors are interesting: you get a brown, a black, a dark blue, a bright red, a true purple (not magenta), and a lovely teal color I've not seen anything like in other foil art kits I've gotten. In fact, this is the only set I've got that doesn't come with pink. I'm okay with this, since I have many foil art kits and you can use the foil from any kit on any sticker. The foil also comes in a reclosable pouch which I've never seen done before. The stickers themselves have an unpleasant chemical smell and will need to air out. They're various animals, along with some flowers and other environmental stuff (snowflake, tree, shell, etc.), plus a sandcastle. There are ten sheets of stickers but the sheets are about a third smaller than standard with these kits. Additionally, there aren't many stickers on each sheet. Usually they're really crammed in together, but these aren't. Some of the stickers have been cut all the way through, but I'd rather that than not cut deep enough, and the paper does come off fine. The backdrops, too, are smaller than normal, which I only noticed when I added them to my pile of backdrops. They're a nice variety of backdrops - a farm, some icebergs, a meadow, though come to think of it, none of them is a beach, so not sure where that sandcastle is supposed to go.Finally, you get a (small) number of googly eyes, which include a couple of large oblong ones, which is another thing I haven't seen. So, on the positive, this kit has several unique things about it, but on the negative, there are far fewer stickers and they need to air out before you can use them. I was very much on the fence about whether to call this a 3 or a 4, but the unique foil colors led me to round up. If I were focusing on the stickers more than the foil, however, I would definitely have rounded down. If you're considering this, think about what you want most in a foil art kit and let that drive your decision.

Foil Art for the win
I got this for a group of young children - not expecting a lot, but was honestly really impressed by the quality of the supplies and how enjoyable the activity was. I had never done foil art before this. There are thicker cards for landscapes, with puffy black double sided stickers - in sheets associated with the themes of the cards. The kids enjoyed peeling off pieces of the stickers and pressing the foil. It's a good activity for little fingers and doesn't get crayon or marker anywhere. There does need to be a little supervision for the toddlers, so that the foil sheets don't end up all caught around stickers, but overall it was a great activity that I would definitely recommend for the price.

Surprisingly little mess
We gave this kit to our children one Saturday afternoon and it was a nice quiet activity to keep them busy for about an hour. The kit comes with everything you need and they were able to manage everything themselves as a 7 and 4 year old. The kit is great if you are looking for a low mess activity and the kids loved decorating their sticker characters before creating their own story pages.
