Great tow rope.
I got this tow rope earlier this year and didn't have a chance to use it right away. Let's start with what you get. Of course the two rope and two soft shackles. And it comes in a very handy carry bag. And the bag is large enough that after you use the rope, it will fit back in the bag. The rope doesn't have to be put back in the bag in any specific method to fit. And there is still room in the bag for a few more recovery items you may need to bring along.A couple weeks ago, I did have to use it to tow a disabled truck back home. What a pleasure it is to tow a vehicle with a rope that has a little give in it. I have not gotten to use it as a recovery rope to get someone unstuck yet. But I can tell this rope will do the trick for nearly any offroad vehicle you may need to pull out.I was pleasantly surprised with the size and build quality of the rope. It was everything I wanted. Now, anytime I will be anywhere near offroad, or the potential to get stuck, that bag is in the truck with me.

Nice
I highly recommend having a kinetic rope for anyone that even thinks they might get stuck. I've used a lot of these and they're a game changer. Soft shackles and rope make a good beginner kit for everyone. Simply hook it up, tug, and you're out. Best of all, it's way safer than all the other methods. Highly recommend

Nice recovery rope
I’ve got a couple of recovery ropes that are similar to this one. Seems well built and at least an inch in diameter and is well made. Nice soft shackles as well as a bag big enough for extra gear.

Well Constructed. Performance as Expected
I live in the mountains so pulling cars stuck out of snow banks is common in the winter. I tested this in the summer by placing it between a pickup truck/camper and a full size van. Both vehicles are on a slope. The van is moved until the rope is taut, then backed up 5 feet, and the van is allowed to roll forward. This rope has a good stretch and brings the van to a soft stop, and then rebounds a few inches. This is characteristic of other straps I own. This comes with a nice carrying bag with a heavier than average zipper. The loop ends of the rope have a sleeve to protect the rope. For added wear protection, the splice is wrapped in the same material the rope is covered with. It is a nice-added detail. Be sure to order a couple of shackles - preferably soft, and maybe an axle strap and receiver hitch shackle to round out your kit.No discussion about vehicle recovery equipment, especially kinetic ropes, is complete without a discussion of safety. No, I'm not going to give you a class here because I am not an expert. Seek out YouTube training videos on recovery, and pay particular attention to the damage that a kinetic strap can do if it becomes detached. People have been killed by vehicle parts being torn off, and the slingshot action of a kinetic straps, hurls that object at great speed, striking and killing them. Never slip the loop of the kinetic rope over a trailer ball. These are great tools, but knowing what you are doing is important. Read up before you need to use it.

Dying to use it!
I don't know if you all watch Matt's Off Road Recovery or not, but I do. And there have been times this would have come in handy and I didn't have it available. So now I've got one! But I haven't had a chance to use it yet! Here's how it compares to a static strap (unstretchable strap)Static tow strap -- you attach it to two vehicles, and then you start driving quickly away from the stuck vehicle. The static strap will either snap, or it will break something off of one or both vehicles.Kinetic recovery rope -- you attach it to two vehicles, and then you start driving away from the stuck vehicle. The rope will stretch and increase the force on the vehicles gradually. Eventually reaching a maximum right before the stuck car comes out.You should not drive over the rope. You should try to recover at slow speeds first, and gradually increase the speed in each successive attempt. The stuck vehicle should not spin its tires. The rope looks great! I kinda hope I get to use it soon!

Nice recovery rope
Looks impressive, the recovery rope is nice and thick, has nice flex to it and appears to have kinetic properties to it as stated. Along with the rope, two soft shackles with protective sleeves included. Another plus is a storage back and really neat that the bag is oversized, allows for adding additional items without having to carry yet another recovery bag. Although nice they included this bag, I wouldn't say it's top notch, feels kinda cheap but did not dock the product due to this as the rope is excellent. Overall I think it's a great recovery kit at reasonable price. The soft shackles seemed to me a bit thin for the 41k rating, it may meet that spec but others I have are a bit thicker than these, either way nice they included.
