This is a great selection of router bits. I've only used a couple so far, but was able to make 20' of stair skirt board on 1x12 oak to match the profile of existing baseboard. The bit cut smooth without tearout the whole way through and still has life. They come in a pretty nice, professional looking case. This set is an excellent value and I have every profile I'll probably ever need

This 1/4" router set is a great value for such a wide selection of bits. The carbon steel bits are very hard and they are good for those who are starting to get in to routing. The only drawback is you need to be aware they can rust easier then the carbon, titanium base bits. Otherwise, you have a wide range of basic bits that allows you to get your feet wet without spending a lot of money, also because they are steel, it makes it easier to restore the edge on them.In Picture #7 & 8 I use a Chamfer Bit in a handheld palm router and it did a very nice job. The bit went threw pine easy, had very little loose fibers and left a very clean sharp edge. The plastic case is a nice extra, it identifies each bit and holds them in place very well. The locks on the front hold the case together with no concern of them coming undone and spilling its contents. The set comes with an Allen wrench to remove the bearings if needed. Overall this is a nice set and a great gift for your favorite woodworker and would be much appreciated. Very fast shipping!
