I use natural grains on a daily basis to bake and improve the health of my family. I needed to store them in a pretty way to go on the shelf in my dining area but also functional for daily use. These are amazing. I have already ordered 3 sets and will probably order more. They are sturdy. The glass is thick and beautiful. The lids fit well and have a silicone seal for an air tight lid. The handle is actually functional so they are easy to pull off the shelf and carry. They showcase my beautiful grains so well. I love the 1.5 gallon capacity! They are a very high quality product for the money. They washed up well in the dishwasher prior to use. Very happy!!!

Just what I needed to store cat food.

I purchased these to store sugar and flour, and have to say, there's nothing on the market that can do a better job than these. What they lack in "modern" features like vacuum sealing, they gain in durability and usefulness. I've tried all sorts of storage containers, and these both hold more, and hold it more usefully than anything I've ever used.They arrived in perfect condition, we'll packaged, and in perfect order. The glass is very thick, they're not intended to be delicate, and they aren't. The seals work great, and these even fit inside my cabinets when laid down. My hands aren't massive, but I could fit both inside of one of these containers if I needed to, the mouth has plenty of size to make them easy to fill and use.Great product and well worth the investment. They'll never get scratched or cracked, and the hardware is all good quality and durable, just keep them dry!

These jars are HUGE. The caps are good quality and easy to twist on and off. They seem to create a good seal. I am currently using one jar to hold a small amount of cat food in my bedroom, and it keeps the cat food smell completely contained.The handles are very simple, but they work perfectly well.Given how heavy duty these jars are, I think they are an excellent deal. I plan on move my kombucha brewing to one of these in the near future. Great product!

Got these two Folinstall 1.5 Gallon Glass Jars with Wide Mouth Lids to store my dry dog food to keep the food fresh and keep the bugs out. In one of the images in this listing it is suggested that one jar can hold approximately 10LB of dog food; well; that is a misrepresentation as I was only able to get 4.2LB of the 18LB bag of Purina Pro Plan dog food. I got these two jars thinking I can get 20LB of dog food in them. In reality, it would take four jars for my 18LB bag of dog food.Now the jars themselves are very well made and are as advertised. They will hold 192fl.oz of liquid, and the there is a very good silicon seal in fitted into the cap. I very much like these jars, but I am only giving them four stars, because of the exaggerated weight of dog food that a jar can hold.

We have nice glass containers that we got from Amazon years ago and they are big but nothing like the size of these. I showed my wife the ad, not thinking she would want them, and she told me to order them as soon as possible. We have been storing cereal, sugar, flour, nuts and many other items in glass jars in our pantry for some time. Not only has that been a nice advantage to clearly see the contents but it seems that stuff stays a lot fresher in glass containers.When we received them, I was concern about the lids because they looked like paper lids to me. Well, they were not made of paper and were very much solid. We could not decide what to put in them just yet and I told my wife that we just got a big bag of peanuts and so we put that in one of the containers and they are a lot better than trying to seal an opened bag. We will get a lot of use out of them for sure.
