SALOMON Men's Authentic Gore-tex Trekking-& Wanderschuhe

I have always just purchased cheaper brands of trainers and hiking boots etc until now. Having been advised by a friend just how great Salomon boots are, I finally took the plunge and spent more money on a pair of Salomon's. These boots have opened my eyes to why you should spend more money on footwear. These boots are so light weight ! They fit so well, and they do not rub at all. The comfort is amazing and I can walk so much further in so much more comfort. Done a few 10 mile walks across countryside so far and no aches, no blisters and no discomfort. It's like walking on air and the quality is clearly there in these superb boots. I've immediately purchased another 2 pairs of Salomon's whilst on offer. I recommend also a good pair of Marino wool walking socks, which although expensive, just add to the comfort if you walk a lot and also stop your feet sweating as they will in cheap ordinary socks. These boots will last well and are waterproof. Highly recommended.

Without question, the best hiking boots I've ever owned. I've tried Karrimor, Merrells, Keen and Hi-Tec and while I've had some decent pairs from all those brands (and some not so decent pairs. Looking at you Karrimor) these are already the best pair of hiking boots I've ever owned and I've only worn them for one hike so far. They were unbelievably comfortable, more so than any other footwear I have ever owned, their grip was brilliant and they survived a sudden rain shower without any leakage to my socks and feet. I even did this hike as a way of "breaking them in" after only doing a couple of miles in them the day before. The venue was Helvellyn in the lake district and the weather was wet.I can't speak to the longevity of these boots yet but in terms of comfort and suitability, these are unmatched by any other boot I've owned.

Great boots upto now. Very light, easy to lace and they grip your feet well. Can’t comment on waterproofing yet but will when I can. Feel like I’ve had them for ages as I’ve no blisters or rubbing. The only downside of the Amazon Wardrobe experience is that I wasn’t given the option to choose gift cards as my payment method. It automatically took from my credit card when I wanted to use gift vouchers. Boots still excellent.

Boots used for mixed town & country walks, mostly country, 4 to 6 miles distance. Excellent boots. Was warned by other posters to buy one size larger than my normal size. Followed advice, except that I bought only half a size larger , and found that the posters were correct. Boots fitted well, but I did not have much extra room for inserts and thicker socks. Haven't tested in heavy rain. Live in English South Midlands where annual rainfall is low. When I bought far fewer complaints by posters on the web against the model than comparable models sold by other big brand names.. Instead highly recommended. Having bought and used the boots, I also now highly recommend them.

They are light and fit well with a proper arch and heel. Great for walking but they are not water proof ontop.

These boots are very comfortable and although the sole isn’t vibram, the sole still feels very durable with lots of grip and tread.However, the sole (pun intended) reason for purchasing these boots were because they claim to be waterproof which they are not!I’ve had these boots for around 3-4 days and on the first day it rained, the boots let water in, so disappointed. Contacted Amazon for a replacement but they were only able to offer a re funds upon return. Such a shame, big disappointment. Should have just paid the extra and ordered Scarpa in the first place.

love the style and feel, slightly small at the mo on the right foot but not broken in...Will update in 10 miles...UPDATE.....Amazing shoe, comfortable as a slipper, nicely waterproof, without the nikwax..Will be waxing them as I want to keep them nice. awesomeness!

They are great walking boots. Very comfortable, extremely light. Very Water resistant. In my work I average 20,000 plus steps a day and these are the best boots I've ever had. Very good quality. I have had lots of different walking boots over the years, these are the best I recommend them.

Las botas son cómodas y ligeras

Vor sechs Jahren habe ich mir das gleiche Produkt gekauft, um den Jakobsweg zu gehen. Schon beim anprobieren war es ein super Tragegefühl. Leicht und angenehm. Obwohl ich den ganzen Tag damit wandern war, gab es keine Blasen und der Fuß war angenehm trocken.Jetzt wurde ein Ersatzpaar gesucht und hier kommen die gleichen Attribute zum Vorschein. einfach ein super Schuh von Salomon. Leider wird er nicht mehr produziert.

Je viens de recevoir les chaussures. Elles sont extrêmement confortables à tous points de vue. Excellent amorti. J'ai pris une pointure au dessus pour pouvoir être à l'aise et porter de grosses chaussettes de laine en hiver. Je les utilise en balade avec mes chiens, dans les dunes, sur les rochers du littoral breton, et en campagne dans l'herbe mouillée. Je suis ravie qu'elles soient bien étanches. Très satisfaite de mon achat. Je n'hésiterai pas à racheter cette marque par la suite.

Zuerst einmal muss ich sagen, dass dies meine ersten Wanderschuhe sind. Deswegen wollte ich auch nicht gleich 400€ für ein Paar ausgeben. Doch ich muss sagen: ich bin begeistert! Der zusätzliche Grip und die Stabilität machen sich beim wandern auch in leichtem Schnee deutlich bemerkbar!Dazu sind sie auch noch recht stylisch!Klare Weiterempfehlung!
