I am finally sleeping through the night!
These are a vast improvement to the orange, cone shaped ones. You rotate them until they drop into place. They are not as good for side sleepers, but they still help. When you share a bed with someone AND you are a light sleeper, you are easily awakened. Especially if they get up to pee once or twice a night, toss, turn, snore - you get the picture. Also, in winter and summer, our heating/cooling system comes on frequently and the blowing sound wakes me. I was sleeping with an extra pillow over my head to help with all of this. Recently, my husband, while lying next to me, woke up, did the stretching exercises that he does each day in bed, got up, got dressed, and left the room. I never heard him! It was amazing! I almost gave these 4 stars, because they tend to move out of position (not fall out) and need to be reseated. I think that most earplugs would have this problem for side sleepers. Even so, they are a big improvement to my snore pillow.Update: 11/30/24 - these are awesome! I don’t understand the low ratings. The trick is getting them in position and they will pop out at night, but can easily be turned into place. Be aware - my cousin was visiting and got locked out of the house at 5 am (don’t ask). She found that the sliding door in our bedroom was unlocked. She slid it open, slipped around the blinds, tiptoed around the end of our bed, opened the sticky bedroom door, slipped out and closed the door behind her. We never heard her and I am a light sleeper. Make sure your house is securely locked!

Uncomfortable and still loud
These ear plugs were very uncomfortable for me. Tried multiple sizes and just couldn't get one I liked. Tried to sleep all night with them in and woke up with ear pain at about 2:30 AM. They barely block out any sound either. I twisted them like the instructions said, but still couldn't get a "seal" fit to help with the noise. Ended up having to get a refund.

Amazing!!
I’ve tried a few different ear plugs but these are by far the best I’ve tried so far! My husband snores like crazy and I was tired of the sleepless nights! Although it doesn’t completely mute him, it muffles the sound significantly! I’ve been wearing them for a couple nights and so far they haven’t popped out of my ears at all! I’m a side sleeper so that was a huge plus for me! They are relatively comfortable, fit is great, easy to remove and put back in. Overall, the value is good for what you’re getting. I hope they last awhile because these are a game changer!Update: these are still amazing and I can actually mostly sleep through the nights now!!

Surprisingly effective noice suppression
I sometimes find loud crowded areas to be uncomfortable, so carry some kind of hearing protection with me most of the time. I used to use foams, still use ANC ear buds, and purchased these to have a set of reusable earplugs after our dog gnawed on my last set.For the price, these have been very effective. The range of silicon plugs means they can fit a range of different ear internals and give a good seal. They actually seal better than my ANC earbuds do and are more effective. The case keeps them safe, though it is sometimes a little tough to get them out of the case when they're well seated. Good in they are unlikely to fall out just opening the case, but bad in that you might drop them in the struggle to get them out. Sometimes at least.I haven't worn them for sleep, but I have worn them for several hours in loud environments and the sound damping was more than adequate and they were comfortable for long term use. They're also easy to clean which is something you definitely should be doing periodically.Overall, well worth the price.

Don't work for me
My husband likes to watch TV in bed, and I like to sleep. I got these hoping to cancel some of the noise. At best, they just seem to muffle the noise. I might not be able to tell you what is being said, but there's hardly a difference in sound level. They also don't stay in great for me. I do have a hard time getting any type of ear bud to fit right as well, however.

They don't work, $5 earplugs from the grocery store worked better
Honestly the title says it all. I bought silicone wax earplugs that cost $5 from Safeway and they work unbelievably better at blocking out noise and are more comfortable. The $5 ones were rated about 20db lower than these ear plugs and yet the $5 earplugs block out way more sound so I really don't think the advertised rating on these is truthful. I tried multiple sizes of the ear buds to see if that affected anything and it didn't, I also followed the instructions properly. If you need portable ear plugs these can work but I don't recommend them for sleeping which is what I use earplugs for.

These are perfect!!!
I got these after being next to a very loud and unexpected noise that made one of my ear very sensitive as it heals. These DO NOT block out all sound these DAMPEN sounds. I just wore these to a haunted attraction and they made it so i could hear my friend talking to me but the loud screaming and banging and music was at a comfortable level. It was still there but at a level that seemed perfect. It took away the painful high pitch of some of the kids screaming. These were absolutely a life saver and i’ve never been happier with a purchase as i am with these. They have a perfect traveling case that fits in a small pocket or bag. The ear pieces are changeable to the size that fits you best. I highly recommend these if you want to hear but it needs to be just a bit quieter.

These don’t work
I opened the package and tried these out for about 2 minutes and could hear basically everything. The only thing it blocked out was a little bit of the ambient noise. We just moved and our cat is yowling in the middle of the night and making me unable to sleep so I had really hoped these would’ve worked. The disposable foam ones are better.
