I hopped on here to write a positive review, because my 13 year old son has been loving this calendar. Ok, the items are not high quality, but they do the job (eg through flashlight works). He's had no missing items, which others have reported, so maybe we just lucked out!One warning- there is a knife in the handle of the spoon ! A sharp knife! My son discovered it on accident, there is no warning on it. Someone, including an adult, could really cut themselves, as it is not clear that within the spoon handle lies a hidden sharp knife!Dangerous hidden objects aside, this has been a super fun advent calendar for my teen boy!

I purchased this for an older teen thinking it would be fine and useful. The articles in the calendar are extremely cheaply made, and not worth the price. Day 2 we received 2 pieces of rope the size of a finger, no instructions/no description. Today (day 6) there was nothing in the slot. I have no hope of it getting better. DO NOT buy. Would not even recommend for a child.

This is a cute advent calendar box for maybe like a young teenager that enjoys the outdoors. However, this was purchased for a 32 yr old man, and I was disappointed of how teenie things are. Would only buy for young teen, not for adults..

We purchased this advent calendar for our son and he loves it! I did not find this until about Nov 26, so it arrived after the Dec 1 start. This worked out bc he was able to open several days at once to catch up. He has already asked for another one for next year! The items have been very survival oriented and of good quality. It even has a pouch to store things in for one of the days. I should have ordered a second one for my husband.

I bought this advent calendar for my husband. He has been excited to open each day to find an item for his emergency kit. Sadly, the compartment was empty on day 9. I opened the calendar to look for the missing item. I had hoped that maybe it had shifted during shipping and the item was simply misplaced. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the item for day 13 is also missing.This would have been a great advent calendar had all the items been included.

My son loves this advent calendar so far but his day 6 was empty so he was super bummed about that. He is twelve and loves the outdoors so this was perfect for him.

Do not buy this product, from what I’ve read, everyone seems to be missing Day 6. That was our first missing piece, then on Day 9… also a missing piece. We thought it was a fluke and maybe the pieces slipped inside a different slot, nope, they didn’t. We are now on Day 13 and this morning was also an empty slot. It’s a cool idea, but definitely not worth the price since it’s missing so many pieces.

This survival gear advent calendar was a huge hit with my nephew! Each day brought a new and exciting item that he couldn’t wait to open, from useful tools to fun, adventure-themed surprises.
