Juice is worth the squeeze.
Had bats roosting on my front porch. Very aggravating, the droppings were terrible. I am going to add a bat house to the property but I wanted the roosting to stop. At first I did not think this would work. I placed one in the attic I don't believe the were nesting there but I was being preemptive. I place one above my Ring door bell. It did not happen over night but after a week / possible 10 days the roosting stopped.

Not worth the money.
Was not effective in deterring bat's from my foyer. Battery life is very short.

It does work
I had bats roosting at night in the ceiling of my high entranceway. As soon as this product arrived it was charged and there have been no more pest to deal with. It does emit a ultrasonic sound, some people can hear it, some people cannot, however the critters definitely seem to be staying off my porch. The only caveat is the charge barely lasted 4 days, I now have mine set up to stay plugged in. This is not an expensive unit so not surprised the charge doesn’t last longer but it definitely works.

Bats be gone!
Amazing! Used it right after it arrived. Next morning - no bat poop on the porch or porch furniture. No poisons to worry about! Just results!
