KolpinFull-Tilt Windshield for Can-Am Commander - 3000, Clear

The installation is a bit of a challenge getting everything lined up just how you want it. But, it is worth it. What a great windshield. The top of my can am half windshield is right in my line of sight and I can already tell the half windshield is going to be way better this summer! I love the fact that I can take it off the machine easily and put the windshield in my truck during transport. After a week of using the machine on a hunting trip- the windshield worked great. I couldn't be happier with it at this point. It replaced a full windshield I had that broke while I was going on a fishing trip.

Like many of the other reviewers I am very satisfied with the product itself. My lack of a five star rating is based on 2 things. The instructions are not good at all. I don't know if it's just MY package, but I ended up with 6 pieces that were no where on the instructions. It was relatively easy to figure out where they went based on the design of the windshield. (The hinge points for the upper part of the windshield, and the T screws that go in the bottom of the mount). The second reason for my lack of 5 stars is I feel like the tilting system should be a little easier to operate, rather than having to loosen the T screws, I'd rather see a quick latch or similar. But that's not a huge deal, and on the reverse side, I'd rather have a system that's rugged and tight than one that might vibrate or come loose. In my test ride I found there was no vibrations. One thing that I didn't stop to think about when I ordered the windshield that I love, you are really getting a half windshield out of the deal too, because the top piece can easily be removed if you want to run just the bottom half. So in a way you are kind of getting two windshields. I highly recommend the product. Took me about an hour by myself.

Put this windshield on my can am commander, as in other reviews instructions were poor but studying the pictures was able to assemble it OK. Lower windshield is flimsy bows in the middle and vibrates both at idle and speeds, top half also vibrates when open but is expected with the span between supports. The reason I gave this 3 stars is that the windshield slider screws have no way to be locked when assembled there should be a locknut on the screw or a way to lock it in place after assembled with the slider, (careful using blue locktite can have a reaction with lexan causing it to crack) Purchased longer screws and locknuts to solve this issue. Have had this on the trails so far it seems OK but don't know if I want this windshield open on a hard ride, probably best to take upper windshield off or keep closed.

My husband bought tbis for our 2019 Commander.While he was installing it, I learned some new sentences and word combinations.Now my husband is pretty mechanically inclined. He is a field service engineer and works on machine tools.Well first off he removed it from tbe box. He was excited and said " hey this looks pretty easy according to the instructions." He should have rethought his plan.Instructions said "30 minute install time". Slight misleading statement. 2 bours later and he is still trying to get the gap between tbe 2 windows just right.I believe the windshield will do what it was bought to do. But the instructions are a good general starting point.One thing that he said he would advise, don't but both sides of the brackets on. Leave on side off and install it after the windshield is on the machine.Also, KOPLIN, YOU HAVE BEEN MAKING ATV AND UTV ACCESSORIES FOR YEARS... BETTER PICTURES and fitment could be better.

I was nervous when buying this windshield, due to the few negative comments. But, after purchase, I am sure glad I did. First of all, the "glass" is very sturdy & stands up to high speeds (65+) with ease. I will have no qualms hauling it on the trailer.Installation was a little tricky, as the instructions do not have adequate pictures to be able to tell which way to mount the brackets. I got lucky on my first try. Fitment was great, but it took some "trial & error" to get it just right. Even with that said, it STILL deserved 5 stars.Brackets & hardware seem sturdy & am sure they will hold up to the elements, here in SD.There is a small gap between the windshield & my aluminum roof...but so what. If I wanted an enclosed cab, that's what I would've bought.When you open the windshield going down the road, you get fresh air, without blowing in your face. Super glad I purchased it!!!

Works well on our can am

I purchased this windshield for my Can Am Commander 800 XT. It is a very nice , well made windshield. Installation was not too difficult, but the instructions were vague. The instructions do not go into enough detail and they do not explain some of the ways the mount brackets should be attached or which way they should face. (pictures a little larger would have helped) You have to do a little thinking to put them on correctly. As far as fit; it was perfect, fits like a glove. Quality is very good also; a good 1/4" thick.The operation is very good and I like the idea that the windshield can be opened to allow air flow.Very nice product and I would recommend this windshield to my friends. I would have given this a 5 star if the instructions were a little better.

Fit my 2015 Can Am Commander 800. Windshield does not go all the way to the top. The directions were HORRIBLE! Almost caused a divorce! Worse than IKEA directions, and those are bad!Directions say installation takes 30 mins, they’re lying there!

Fits perfectly on a commander. Some parts take two people to install.

Instructions could be better illustrated but does the job.

Nice windshield, easy to install. The only problem is when the top window is in the open position, the bend at the bottom of the glass obstructs your view.

Fits good on my 2014 commander.
