Good toasties maker, very useful for toasting panini too.
We use it daily, sometimes twice: for breakfast and lunch, it is very good and easy to use. Heats up fast and, so far, no burned toasts!

Does what it says on the tin!
I deliberated before choosing this sandwich toaster due to the mixed reviews, but then none of them in this price category seemed to have a clean bill of health so I just took the plunge. So far so good - sandwiches are toasted evenly in around 4-6 mins. In fact, despite having the changeable plates you might as well just stick with the panini plates, as you can fit any size of bread or sandwich, plus you get the nice grill lines on your bread. (However, the plates intended for standard sliced bread are quite handy for smaller kids if you're sharing one round between two). As for waffles... a bit less successful but I think that's down my skill at making the mix. I never realised you needed to separate eggs and whisk the egg whites in order to get a decent rise on the waffles. They do take a good while longer to cook than sandwiches but were still very tasty, despite being somewhat flat. I think it'll take a bit more practice. One thing I will say is make sure the toaster is turned on a good few minutes before you add any contents, whether it's sandwiches or waffles. Also make sure you butter the outside of your bread, as per the instructions (or make sure you oil the plates).Cleaning is super easy - the plates wipe clean with a piece of kitchen roll. I don't use the dishwasher as it's not necessary and I think it better preserves the non-stick coating.

Easy to clean
I have only used the sandwich bit so far but it does a good job and is really easy to remove the plates for cleaning.

Amazing - Difficult to get dirt - Fast - Big enough to cover the whole Sandwich
The Most amazing Sandwich Toaster I have ever usedFor these specific reasons :Main :1- Difficult to get dirt : It is made of material that does not allow melted cheese to stick in it2- Fast - with 900 W you sandwich will get toasted in 2 minutes approximately3- Big Enough - It covers the whole Sandwich and it may take 3 sandwiches sometimes instead of two4- Amazing and fast service - It is delivered in the same day of order with no latency5- Easily Removable plates6- Three Years warranty with a good price : in order to cover you anytime within three years which means you will get these benefits for three years at least without problems for 40 poundsThings to improve :1- Longer cable : cable is short a little bit2- Switch on/off : It is better to have a switch Most toasters does not have switch ( Mostly because of the heat itself - safety )Amazing - Thanks

Go with your own expectations..
When I looked at reviews for this and most other items the same or similar all I got was very mixed reviews. So I decided that as with anything in life, not everything you encounter is for everyone. One thing is not going to please everyone. Everyone has a different expectation.I kept an open mind and decided to order this one. Due to the affordability and versatility of the product. The plates are so easy to remove and wash. They are non stick so it doesn't take much scrubbing, just simple washing up liquid and warm water. The plates heat up evenly and cook well. The instructions are easy to understand and even have a few recipes!I love that it's a 3 in 1 appliance so less room taken up in my cupboard when storing. It goes well in my kitchen which consists of mainly black appliances with a touch of chrome.I hope this review helps someone decide. You won't be disappointed, I wasn't 😊

Overall a decent budget toasted sandwich maker
I use this to make toasted sandwiches. I don't bother with paninis or waffles so I won't comment about those.Firstly, manufacturers need to make their toasters and toasted sandwich makers to fit the most common shape of breads one will find in most supermarkets. Rectangular. Not square.I tried Tesco's wholemeal toastie loaf of bread, and that didn't fit the plates as well as I'd like. But then I tried Warburton's Toastie Bread, and they fit even worse. It's very rare to see perfectly square slices of bread where I live. This results in the sandwich not being sealed properly, resulting in a bit of filling spilling out. So I'm knocking a point off this toasted sandwich maker for the manufacturer being short sighted. They should make a rectangular version for those of us who can't find square loaves of bread in our supermarkets. It does cook quite evenly. I don't preheat. I butter the bread, put a slice buttered side down first, put the filling in, then place the other slice, buttered side up. Then I turn the machine on. If I preheat, it results in my sandwich being more toasted on one side than the other, or I get a horrid buttery mess on my plate. It cooks quite quickly, depending on how toasted you want your bread to be.There is a design flaw. The handles are right in front of where the heat comes out, and they are too close to the machine, making it hard to bring the two sides together without burning my fingers. I tried before turning the machine on, but the filling needs to melt a little before I can successfully latch the handles together. Instead, there needs to be a levered handle on top or something like that, imo. The handles and the latch are plastic, so they would be prone to breaking because you need quite a bit of strength to get the handles latched together. So, it's not as easy or as safe to use as it should be.The removable plates are easy to remove and they can be soaked. But they burn quite easily, so after the first soak and wash (and a light scrub with a Brillo pad), they're still slightly scorched. All in all, not a bad toasted sandwich maker for the price, but there's room for improvement even at this price point.

Good sandwich maker
It's easy to use and clean. Few additional attachments makes it multifunctional use. Doesn't take much space on kitchen top

We use it daily
We have been using this every single day to make at least 4 toasties, since we got it in August. Yes the plates are designed for VERY large bread but I get around this by toasting my homemade GF sourdough toasties on just one half, ie makes 1 pocket instead of 2. See pic. I'm enjoying the fact that I'm cooking on a ceramic coating and not a plastic one. And if I need to I can order just new plates, not the whole machine which is such a waste. I've tried the waffle plates and found that I needed to put the waffles in the toaster afterwards to get them crispy - but the could be to do with my experimental GF recipe. I haven't tried the grill yet.

English plug not Australian - ridiculous given I am buying on Amazon Australia
Appliance had an English style plug not AUstralian - this is ridiculous given it was an Australian site we were purchasing off of. And yes I could have returned it but is was a present for my daughter and she didnt open it to use is straight away so we had only realised a couple of weeks later. Disappointing. I am very lucky I have a son who is an electrician and could correct the issue.
