I have two bad knees and this helps me to get up and down when I have to kneel on the floor to work on something. It is an excellent piece of equipment.Jerry B.

In theory this is a wonderful assistive device for helping an elderly person get up off the floor (such as myself) however the clips are way too difficult for my hands to press in to adjust the height on the device thereby rendering it and ineffective tool.

The media could not be loaded. To assemble this mobility aid:a) I rotated one piece (in a clockwise manner) into the baseb) Then, I inserted the handle.c) There are 5 holes, corresponding to the varying height levels. Once I picked how high I wanted this mobility aid to be, I used the C-shaped clip to secure it.A manual was not included. I would have liked for there to be a manual, with assembly instructions and with descriptions on how to best use this device.The handle does not have padding. I would have liked for a cushioned grip to make it more comfortable for my hand.The higher I adjust the handle, the less stable this aid is for me; because, when I need to lean on it (to stand up), the aid wobbles more than I'd like.I would have like the base (which I measured as 7-inches in diameter) to be larger in diameter.This mobility aid works well on our carpet, tile floor, and out in our garden.Overall, I prefer to use this at a shorter height. It suits my needs well.

I ordered this one as a back up to use in my garden. So I keep it with my gardening supplies.I do like that the base is large on this standing aid. I feel it is nice and sturdy when using it on the grass. The height adjustment is easy to do. You pull out the pin that is attached to the plastic half ring, adjust the standing aid to a height that will work for you, and then put the pin back in place, making sure the half ring is up tight against the support.It does come with a hook that you can put through the top hole to use it to hang it up. I found that the hook is very hard to open with my old hands. It does take a lot of strength, so I wasn't impressed with that feature.Once on the ground, by choice or accident, this aid will definitely make it easier to get back on your feet. It is sturdy and you can easily grip the handle and use it to push yourself up to a standing position.The coloring of the black with the bright yellow accents makes it easy for me to locate this in my garage when I go out to garden. It's funny how things move around when we aren't looking. The bright yellow color definitely catches my eye so I can find it with no problem.

Works great to assist me in getting up from kneeling position, but no instructions and cannot figure out how to adjust the height, fortunately the height it came as works for me. There are 2 parts that came with it in a small plastic bag, have no idea what they are for.

As me and my spouse age we find mobility to be more challenging so anything that helps especially getting up from the ground or even furniture this is a tremendous help! Hopefully we’ll not need it to get up from a fall but we’ll have it just in case! Very nice and adjustable too!

One suggestion is to sent it with more specific directions re assembly which while easy relatively, is not obvious and only because I could open the website page about it, were we able to figure out how to get the piece attached to make it height adjust. it allows me to use it for support from different positions fairly easily. Only somehow after my first adjustment , the piece that determines height setting , fell out unbeknownest to me until I went to use it again. Fortunately I'd noticed a piece of plastic that looked like it had to belong to something & I set it aside so was able to reattach it.

I have bad knees due to a knee injury, and I struggle to get up constantly. I always have to have someone around to help me up, or use my surroundings, but sometimes that isn't possible. This standing aid is a game changer for those situations!I was expecting this to be heavy, or not support my weight. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I used it with my full weight to help me stand! It helped me stand without the help of another person for the first time in years! It gave me my independence back!It is high quality so I am not afraid I will break it, which is nice.Overall I highly recommend!
