The seller was very professional in every way. So much so, that I was greatly impressed with their efforts to provide after-the-sale service. They sent a whole new kit within 24 hours. This is the kind of service that every person hopes they get, but often does not. I give this seller my strongest recommendation.I gave the new kit a much closer look. All the components were included. It is a very complete kit. The fittings are nicely machined. Screwing the components together is silky smooth, which I take as an indication of their high quality. They feel substantial, not cheaply made.I really like the construction of the kit. Everything has its place, which makes it easy to see if one of the components is missing. After a little practice, I found the lid closes very easily and the hoses do not get hung up on the manifold if I take my fingertips and pull the hoses towards me as I shut the lid.I am very pleased to update this review. Both for the efforts of the seller and the quality of this kit's components.********************************************What at first appeared to be a very complete and semipro DIY A/C Manifold Set, quickly became a disappointment when I discovered one of the foam slots was missing a critical component. That being, the red Safety Valve. The blue safety valve was tightly in place, but not the red one. I can't see how it could have fallen out. The foam slots are very tight. I pulled out all the hoses to see if the red valve had fallen out during shipping and lodged itself inside the lid cavity. But no, it was nowhere to be found. So much for safety. That pretty much ended my testing. A huge let-down. Considering it is unusable in its current state, I have deducted 4-stars.

This set comes with everything. It has every kind of adapter I will need and also has the can tap. The gauges are nice and padded and comes with extra accessories like Shrader fittings and extra o-rings and an installation tool. One thing it does not have is the side can tap, and also the carrying case needs to be a little bigger and have better buckles. It can be hard to close they have packed in so many adapters and accessories. I use these on mainly R-134a refrigerant for automotive use.

DIY mechanic with a lot of experience with a narrow range of makes and years, and I have avoided any A/C system work for a long time, until recently. I had purchased an old truck that needed a reworking of the HVAC and I decided to give it a go. With some careful study, a vacuum pump and this manifold I have been able to repair, evacuate and charge my own vehicle A/C with success. I don't recommend doing this without proper training, since it is dangerous and a system to capture the refrigerant is required.With my limited experience, I am more than happy with the quality and performance of this set up. The gauges are easy to read and accurate, the fittings attach easy and seal tightly and some common consumables are included for convenience. I was able to evacuate the system, test for leaks and charge with refrigerant with the use of this manifold. The money saved by doing this myself has payed for the cost of tools after just 2 uses.This manifold set is made with quality components and performs exactly as described. After limited use, it appears capable of being used frequently. The low price and quality of materials make it a recommended purchase, it is capable of paying for itself quickly in the right hands.

I've kept one of these around for over 20 years for various situations that come up, particularly with automotive air conditioning systems. The included R134A will snap onto the car's fittings and the included hoses. The extra parts like o-rings and washers and valve parts are great because you'd have to buy them separately otherwise.This kit has everything I use except for a vacuum pump and a refrigerant leak detector sniffer; both are super useful and not particularly expensive for this type of work.Some tips:1. If you need to remove refrigerant do it with a refrigerant recovery pump tool and a refrigerant recovery tank.2. Electronic leak detectors are cheap and really useful3. Don't forget the correct oil if you are replacing the compressor3. Before filling a system, pump it down to a full vacuum, close the valves on this manifold gauge set completely and wait 30 minutes or so to see if the vacuum level changes. If the vacuum comes up "at all," you still have a leak!4. After servicing a system and filling it with refrigerant, make sure that the caps on the access valves are fully sealed as well (check these too with your leak detector if you have one!)Based on my experience, this should last for 10 or more years of occasional use.

I have a lot of experience with these types of guages. I have over 20 years in the hvac field and have used many different brands. To test the set, I actually checked the r410a level on my home a/c system and compared what these guages were showing to what the set of yellow jacket guages I use for work were showing. The readings were basically the same, and I would trust what these guages are showing. Now I don't think I would want to is these as my primary daily use guages because I just don't think that they would stand up to that but as a backup pair or for a day person this might be ok. All of the included fittings and adapters are what piqued my interest in this set.

Just got my hands on the Rogvoc AC Manifold Gauge Set, and it’s a solid, complete kit for any car enthusiast. The set includes everything you need, from R22 and R410a safety valves to R134a adapters and a can tap. The hoses, however, fit poorly in the case and seem stiffer and lower quality than others I’ve used. Despite this, I appreciate the simpler R134 style manifold without the extra ports. Overall, it works well and gets the job done, making it a reliable addition to your car maintenance toolkit.
