Works perfectly with excellent SWR on all 4 bands
Right out of the box, this antenna works perfectly. I measured an SWR ranging from 1.0 to no higher than 1.3 over each of the four bands with no tuning. My radio is an ICOM IC-7300 radio which has a built in antenna tuner. That knocked the SWR down to 1.0 on all frequencies on all four bands. Perfect! To mount the antenna, I attached it as high as possible to one end of the house. The other end disappears into some trees about 60 feet away. This is about the right distance for this 53 ft long antenna. The antenna comes no closer than three feet to either the house, or any of the trees. I think this is important.Attached are pictures showing how I mounted it.To attach it to the house, I mounted a D-ring on the side of the house. They supply a generous length of nylon cord which you attach to either end of the insulators on the antenna. To solve tension problems, I used a doubled bungee cord on the house end. This plus about 5 ft. of nylon keeps the fed end away from the house with its aluminum gutters. The other end has about 10 feet of nylon line attached to a tree branch as high up as I could manage. The bungee makes it easy to tighten the antenna, and provides strain relief if high winds cause tree movement. The feed line drops straight down making an excellent counterpoise. At the ground, it travels about 3 feet into a lightening arrestor, then into the house. It's easy to install, almost invisible, and I am very satisfied with the performance of this antenna.

REVISED - READ NEW REVIEW - Call it a 4 band, not 8. for me.
Changed to 5 stars! Not only because "GOOZEEZOO" is fun to say, but after my original review, which was 3 stars, they offered me a refund if needed. However, after reading through the raving reviews again, I figured that I must have something wrong. I re-soldered the end on my coax things are working great now! I must have had a cold joint or a connection that wasn't 100%. This tunes up great from 80 meters up. (60 is even usable). Glad I kept this. I'll probably buy a 2nd one in the future for POTA operation.Old review: Bought for my new Xiegu G90. I'm new to HF, but told that rig could "tune a wet noodle". Well maybe I should have bought a wet noodle. Tried on 160m and poor (of course it doesn't say 160m is supported). According to the SWR sweep on my G90, 80m is about 1:1, 60m is 3.5-4:1, 40m is nearly 1:1, (didn't test on 30m),20m is nearly 1:1. 17m goes up to about 1.6, 15m is about flat until 21.225, then it goes to 4:1, 12m is similar, low, then spikes to 4.1, 10m is the same things. So we have about 4 really good bands, some partials and a few unusable. Definitely not an 8 band antenna for me.

Incredible antenna at a great price point. I am SUPER happy.
This antenna is insane. Ive had it 3 hours and cant stop making FT8 contacts. Best antenna ever. The instructions are ridiculous but I didnt need em. Hang it up.. attach the coax and go nuts. It literally was super simple. My feedline to this is about 6 foot long total. Great antenna. Great price. The quality was really good too. Hard plastic balun. Well made. The wire was nice coated wire that is going to last a long while. The paracord was really good quality stuff. All for sub 90 dollars? buy it you wont be sorry. Worked great.

Incredible antenna
I've only had it for a few weeks and I've already made many contacts around the US and around the world.Yesterday I had a QSO with a ham in Mexico City who was so impressed with my signal and audio that he recorded me and played it back over the air. Sounded like I was in the room with him.I have this one strung from the top of a detached garage (about 20ft high) across my hard to a tree. Thinking about buying a second one for POTA activations.

Tunes up easy on most bands.
I'm using the antenna with a G90. The internal tuner appears to have no trouble matching the antenna on most bands. SWR gets high on 80m and 160m is beyond its capability. The carry bag is nice. Some line is included, but I needed to buy additional line to get the antenna up where I wanted it.

Excellent choice of antenna. Has been working like a champ. SWR was superior and didn’t have to adjust the length. I am well pleased at my purchase.
