Vanilla Products USA 10 Extract Grade B Vanilla Beans 4~5 inches (12~14 cm)

This is my first purchase from this company. I purchased 2 packages of 10 beans to make baking vanilla. The packaging was nice and vacuum sealed. When the packages were opened, the aroma of the beans was very good and the beans weren’t too moist nor too dry. I never heat my vanilla, it stays in my pantry all cozy and gets a good shake every so often. I made up my half gallon mason jar in the mid afternoon and by that evening the contents of my jar were a nice carmel color. Very nice. Will be purchasing more, esp at this price.

This will be my first time making vanilla extract, but with the prices that are out there I'm taking the leap.Product was fresh and still soft. No odor or mold at all. Very pleased.

I have been wanting to make my own Vanilla Extract but didn't want to spend a ton on the beans my first time doing it. I was hesitant to buy these because of some of the negative reviews but they were in my budget so I decided to give them a try. Beans were 6" in length, very nicely fragrant upon opening the package, like real, good quality vanilla. Also, the beans were not too dried out. Splitting them them was easy and fast. I will update this review in a couple months when my Vanilla has brewed to update on taste.

For the money, I have had better and I have had worse. These have a good, true vanilla scent and taste. They worked fine for making homemade vanilla extract.

I use these for making my own vanilla. Even in a air tight package, I find that if I wait too long to use it (I forgot them in the cabinet for 6 months), the beans can become a little dry. For me, that's not a concern when making vanilla. It still turns out fantastic. This is my fault because the newer package I had were still moist and perfect for cutting out the vanilla beans for baking. Just a caution of user error.

I bought these to make homemade vanilla extract. The package held more than I thought so even more vanilla extract will be made. The beans have a great scent and the inside is rich and flavorful.

I bought these beans to use in recipes calling for the seeds from the middle of the beans. I should have read the reviews and should have noticed that these are grade B. They are so thin and dry that it is impossible to split them lengthwise even with a very sharp knife. Also being so thin and dry I can’t imagine there would be much inside to scrape out. I am giving a three rather than a one star because the item title does say Grade B and because the beans probably would be useful for vanilla sugar and vanilla extract. I will probably try making vanilla extract with them.
