Make sure your structure is square & level before putting the roof panels in
We received the item sooner than expected. It did arrive in 2 boxes, & the items were packaged well. The directions left out a few details. We went by the book with pics & the video. Our only issue, which no one else mentioned, was our structure not being square so our panels went in at an angle. Luckily the customer support helped us fix the issue. We love it so much! It is exactly what we were wanting at an affordable price.

Nice for the price!
Well constructed fairly easy to build. All parts were included with hardware. The only downside is the low end has only 6’ clearance so anyone taller than 6’ would have to duck down to pass through.

Good overall, but a few cautions
Just finished assembly. Overall, it’s exactly what we needed, and will fit our spot perfectly. There are a few reasons for the 4 instead of 5 stars.First off, and more of a warning to others, the screws are all aluminum, so be sure to match your bit exactly with your screw driver and if you do use power, use sparingly.Second, it says 2 or 3 people for assembly….you can get it with 2 for most, but nearing the end, you definitely need 3. I wasn’t expecting a ton of rigidity for the price, but I was VERY surprised at the flimsy nature of the structure until you anchored it.Third, logic will tell you to mark, then still, then set the foot anchors. DO NOT DO IT LIKE THAT! Even with a new masonry bit, my holes didn’t line up and I ended up with a bit of a mess on a few holes. Go ahead and drill right down through the holes in the foot brackets and save you a ton of time. Finally, don’t go beast mode on the concrete anchors. They will hold fine once they are fairly tight. Quality is a bit of an issue, and I completely ripped the nut off of one of my anchors. All in all, for the price, I think it’s a great product, and I’d definitely not hesitate to order it if you’re on the fence. Just take your time, have lots of extra hands, and you’ll have a great patio cover.

NO - WHAT A HASSLE!
Had done lots of research to hope that this would be a good product that would withstand at least several years of weather. I got delivery in mail and pole was dented but the box holding it was not. PRO: I will save it was packaged well. CON: It took hours to assemble and the instructions were not clear. I needed space to build it and as soon as we moved it where he had wanted other parts bent. To move it carefully is probably a 3-4 person job, not 2! The company gave me a partial refund. We finally got it under an overhead deck and a concrete patio. It did keep rain off for awhile. I could not mount it to the patio or house because of condo assoc rules. There was one day that there might have been more wind that day and then the pergola came crashing down and a bunch of it was all bent. It couldn't be salvaged easily or everything was bent and would be difficult, and was not in any way worth the trouble to reassemble because I did not trust that it would stay up over time. I was so frustrated from the first time of setup and the difficulties that I reached out to company again. They would not refund me a majority of the product and the only way they would consider is if I sent all the parts, which would take hours to undo all the tiny bolts and everything again. Then, I was really considering it but I had no box that I could fit it in to send it back, and they wouldn't send me an empty box. I went to Home depot and they didn't have any big enough empty to give as courtesy, so I was stuck. Needless to say I was NOT happy with product. I would be wary of this product due to the parts bending easily and the very agonizing difficult time consuming setup. It's possible if it was mounted (which I will say they honestly did recommend and though i imagined that these parts were heavy metal enough to be protected under another deck area that it may have offered a difference to be mounted as they said but I wouldn't know). I guess my recommendation is to do your research, ask for the product installation book ahead of time, get an estimated time of setup, have multiple help on a project like this, and figure out a way to mount or if can't maybe heavy pole sandbags, etc. ALSO this is not glass or heavy heavy plastic roof, it's like multiple sliding greenhouse plastic sheets that make up the roof top. I was worried about the snow in our area and since it didn't last more than 5 months never really got that far to test.

Great Customer Service
The item didn’t work with my plan, but there was nothing wrong with the item itself. I worked with customer service and resolved the matter quickly.. The representative who helped me was helpful, kind and courteous and made my experience a pleasant one. Would definitely recommend this company to do business with.

I love being outside now!
So far we love this addition to our back porch. We did have a piece missing when it arrived but my husband had 2 of another piece and improvised. We’ve had rain and 50+mph winds so far and it’s held up. My husband did screw it into our house to help with the support. I’d like to know if I needed them can I get replacement pieces?

Patio Cover
Love it, just the perfect size for my patio 16 X 12, it is a lot to put together, you need two or three people....

Not a long term solution
Premium Material & Excellent Load-bearing - Not a chance. Pictures online may have been for an earlier version as what I received was not exactly the same - but close. It's not stable front to back until you anchor it into a wall. They provide those brackets... but not sure I want to anchor this to my house. I spent a couple nights in front of the TV pre-assembling parts for the big install on a Saturday morning. Saturday I needed a helper for about 30 minutes and the rest can be done by yourself. Installing the panels turned out to be significantly harder than I ever expected - as they were tight going in. Functionally, it does what it says it will do (all though surviving 2" of snow or 25 mph winds seems like an optimistic expectation) . As I review this purchase and question the quality of what I received, I guess the question is what was I expecting for $350 as compared to something that could cost $1500?For me this isn't going to be a long term solution. Maybe it will survive the summer.
