Fits okay, looks okay, may or may not insulate effectively
Given that this pad costs about a quarter the price of a replacement from Volkswagen, it's probably okay. It's much thinner and less fluffy than the original, made of a denser material. The tabs don't seem to mate the corresponding recesses under the car hood precisely, but close enough to make it work. Make sure you save the original clips, because new ones are not included.
