Kick-Butt Little Light Meter For 35mm Shooters
I picked up the LightMate AirPro Light Meter Metal Silver for my Mamiya 35mm film camera.Note: the first LightMate I received would not power up no matter what I had done and did an exchange and have now received a new one that works straight out of the box.How this little awesome device works - the first dial on the left is your aperture, the middle smaller dial is your ISO and the right dial is your shutter speed. If you are in Auto for either aperture or shutter you just place the proper dial into the A or S with the square around them. If you know how to use your camera in manual, then what you do is set up your camera to the dials - once you have your aperture and ISO set you look at the little screen, and when the middle dot lights up on the tiny LCD screen you know your camera is at the correct setting for the picture you want to take. This little device, the LightMate AirPro is awesome for anyone still shooting with film that wants to make sure their image is going to turn out the best that it can without further post-processing (darkroom) pushing and pulling or dodging and burning.Overall, if you shoot with an old film camera, this little device is a must-have attachment for your camera!

Amazing, excellent, beautiful!
I own almost every external cold shoe mount light meter there is; from the most expensive ones ($200+) to the lower end ones ($40).This meter is by FAR, the most excellent meter I own. So many pros.- The CLEAR and intelligible reading window (some meters are extremely confusing and sometimes even inversely displaying over/under exposure).- The three dial setup is AWESOME. Most other readers have only 2 or even 1 dial, requiring you to do some clicking around to toggle between ISO, aperture, and shutter. The three clearly marked dials is so much more analog friendly. Love this.- Rechargeable via USB-C!!! This might be my top favorite feature. Every other meter uses a coin battery (CR series batteries) which are hard to find, annoying to replace (screw drivers required), and way overpriced. The rechargeable built in battery is a dream come true. All in all, this is the best cold shoe mount light meter on the market right now. Readings were accurate and on the money as well. Highly recommend!!

Pretty nice, works well, fits only ok
Overall, it works great. My only complaint is that the hot shoe is a little loose on the fit, resulting in movement of the device. Besides that, the quality is excellent and it works perfectly.

What an amazing little device…
It’s amazing all the features that can be packed into such a tiny little device. Currently I have this exposure meter attached to an old Mamiya film camera; however, I also use it for general light metering when I’m on photo shoots. It is very tiny and is built like a tank. The case is solid metal and the knobs are built tough as well. The little LEDs are super bright and are easy to see in any lighting condition. This is a great exposure meter for older cameras just don’t have internal light metering. A great unit!

grerat meter
This is a great light meter for us film shooters. I own another that is similar. I grabbed this one for another camera so I don't have to switch it out. This is a scene meter more than a spot meter so keep that in mind. The battery lasts a LONG time, and your exposure is based on a normal camera scale thatll likely match your film camera. It has multiple indicators for your exposure which is a great thing.Solid product worth the price

Awesome light meter
The light meter is super small and fits in your pocket easy. It’s easy to use, but you do have to read the manual because there’s different settings such as auto aperture and shutter speed. If Exposure is a problem, this device will help.

An Excellent and Affordable Camera photography light meter
It is nice having this easily accessible on the camera, especially when shooting with old rangefinders and SLRs upon which the built-in light meters (if they were a feature) are prone to being non-functional. Accuracy is good for me so far for the most part

A very exquisite light meter
The workmanship is still very delicate. Compared with other light meters, it is still very accurate, and I like the physical dial, which can quickly switch the aperture and shutter, much more convenient than software switching.
