The lights are plenty bright enough, but they don't stay on very long. And they're inconsistent. Sometimes they stay on for the advertised 10 seconds, but most of the time it's 3-5 seconds. And constant motion won't always keep them on.

The range at which it detects motion is excellent, even from an angle. The brightness is very good. One feature I didn't know it had was once the batteries start to run down, the unit will light up for about 10 seconds, then turn off for 10, and repeat until they are really drawn down. Then it will remain on until the batteries expire completely. A very good way to let you know it's time to change the batteries. We have one in the stairway half-way down to the basement. It lights up the stairs quite nicely. They're removable from the wall mounts to use on a table should the power go out during a storm. Battery swap out is quick and easy.Through 2 separate purchases, I have 4 of these. Will be buying a few more soon. Very pleased.

So, what I really like is the brightness of the Motion Sensor Oxyled wall lights, and a big part of the reason I purchased the two pack deal in March was for the motion detection. One of my lights started coming on randomly, causing me to think someone was in my house late at night. It would come on and stay on a long time. I changed the batteries, but the same thing kept happening. I bought a battery operated lamp from another company to replace my Oxyled light, but the lamp's light was too dim and the motion sensor didn't work as it claimed. I emailed Oxyled's customer satisfaction team, explained what happened with just the one light, and Melody immediately processed a replacement. It took about two weeks for it to get to me, but I was in no hurry. Melody even checked back to see if I had gotten it. I am a very satisfied customer, and it helps when a company stands by its product. Thank you, Melody.

This light is perfect for closets and areas where you want more light for 'walking in the dark' at night. A tad bright and VERY sensitive to motion (from about six feet away). Only drawback is the battery catch seems to be a tad too big for inserting the batteries, very loose and one light doesn't always 'light up' when it should. Keep in mind it's heat sensitive and not meant for high-moisture rooms like bathrooms (shucks).Soft steel double border frame is a great way to class up a hallway or stairway. Recommend as a practical product for yourself or a holiday gift.

I’m very particular about lighting and this may be the very best light I’ve ever purchased for the purpose of motion detection, style, brightness, really nice looking. Until... using the 3M adhesive pads for wall mounting. I cleaned and dried the surface area, affixed the adhesive pads and applied pressure for several minutes to the unit and the surface to assure a “stick”. Three hours later the adhesive failed and the light fell, cracking the ambient light cover, bending and scratching the metal and the noticeable sounds of broken parts inside. The adhesive provided is not strong enough to mount the light. Very disappointed! I would recommend the light, but strongly encourage using hardware to mount the unit.

I have purchased 4 of these light before and after months they are working flawlessly. I would give 5 stars. I recently bought another two pack, one was defective, motion sensor didn't work. Waiting to hear back from seller about replacement.Update 3/4/2020. After the seller read my one star review they reached out with an apology and sent me a replacement (free of charge!). No doubt I will order from this supplier again. I wish all internet sellers were as courteous and professional as Thousandshores. I now rate then at 5 stars.

I really like these motion sensors. They work well inside the house. Great for security purposes because they don't look like a motion sensors. The appearance of them is that of a light on the wall and persons unfamiliar with your home would not know they alert the home owner to motion.

I have placed this on our closet or jacket hangers, and it is very useful. Our jacket/sweater closet is often accessed by us or visitors, and this is very helpful especially our closet is placed in the part of the house where there's no overhead lights. It responds pretty well to our motion and the brightness is good.

These worked as I expected based on the reviews I read. I can honestly say they improve your quality of life. I installed one at my side door leading into the basement and another in a basement hallway. I purchased these to eliminate the need that turn on and off the lights when entering our basement apartment from the side door. Now I want some for our main floor hallway and pantry.

although you need to be careful as to where you stick this, i guarantee you it will not fall/lose adhesive off of the wall. To be safe, i stuck it onto a mirror as I just painted in our bathroom and was worried the paint might come off if I needed to remove this sensor.Otherwise - it has perfect lighting, and works right when you step into the room it is designated for. I highly recommend.

Very nice lights , unfortunately they worked ok for a couple of weeks. After that , sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. I put in new batteries but still the same problem.Very nice when they work but frustrating when they don’t

J'adore!!J'ai mit sa dans mon couloir car la nuit je doit nourrir bébé et il fais noir a la maison, je les aies mit sur le mode automatic, il me détecte de très loin!!J'adore!! ils sont super beau en plus, aucun négatif de ce que je vois autre qu'il faut 8 batteries, mais avec les batteries d'amazon, tres économique!!
