I previously had a fairly expensive Nakamichi Atmos system, which was pretty amazing. Unfortunately, after several years, the surround speaker's RCA plug snapped off and got stuck inside the system. Looking for a replacement, I had to stay within a decent price range so as not to upset my wife. The first thing that popped up was this system. The price was cheap; the reviews were pretty good. So I pulled the trigger, but to be honest, I didn't expect much. Probably the same budget, middling-sounding system you usually get at this price point. Boy, was I wrong! This thing sounds just as good as the Nakamichi. No joke. After setting it up and downloading the app, there was immediately an update. I performed that and got to testing. It's loud—louder than it has any right to be. There is a fully customizable equalizer to suit your personal taste. I ended up just using the movie preset and turning up the bass. Speaking of bass, it's tiny compared to others, but it's deep and punchy. The surround sound is spot-on out of the box but is also customizable. Thanks to this system, I'm back to enjoying movies and games the way I like, and at a price that's really crazy for this amount of quality. If you're on the fence or apprehensive simply because of the price point, let me just say that you shouldn't be. This has no right being this good, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Edit: support apparently got busy luckily they did reach out. More of an edit below original.Original: Would have had a better rating once getting the soundbar and sub to work. It sounded decent but got nothing out of the four surround speakers. Contacted support and got a rather quick response. They forwarded to their team they were looking into it. Sent four messages after that back to support never once got a response over the course of 3 weeks so ended up returning it.Edit: so had minor issues getting a hold of support but when I finally got a resolution I was very happy with said resolution I do have another one that was ordered it is working fantastically well set up was a breeze. Surround sound is lacking outside of shows and movies that have dolby Atmos as an option. But once logged into Amazon prime video everything sounds fantastic. Very happy with the company's handling of the situation and will most likely buy new versions down the road as well as for other TVs in the hone.

This is hands down one of the best sound systems I’ve ever listened to. The Ultimea Poseidon D80 is on a whole different level. The packaging was super well done and made the unboxing experience fun. Setup took me just 20 minutes—it was super easy and smooth. The app is clean, simple, and really well-optimized.The speakers feel high quality, look modern and stylish, and fit into any setup perfectly. The sound is rich, immersive, and honestly gave me goosebumps. As someone who’s huge into movies, I was amazed by the ultra-clear dialogue, deep bass that pulses through your chest, and the immersive surround that pulls you into the world of the film. Music sounds just as incredible—it’s like you’re right there in the room with the band.I love that you can customize the sound easily through the remote or app. And yes, this system is actually Dolby Atmos certified—something not many brands can say. I used to own a Sonos Beam 2 with a sub, and it didn’t even come close (and it was nearly twice the price).Also, I live near Seattle, and it feels great supporting a home state company like Ultimea. They nailed it with this one. The price is beyond reasonable, the tech is top tier, and the sound is absolutely astonishing. Highly recommend.

Got this unit to replace a 20 inch sound bar and get better sound, I was very disappointed as the sound bar sounded better then this 7.1 system. The bass is lacking and the speakers sound cheap, the rear speakers are low even when turned up all the way, no way this unit is over 400 watts as the volume also is lacking and I had it in a small room. Yes I tried all the different settings and there was a difference in each setting but it really didn’t help the bass or volume. Gave it 3 stars because it does work just not well, If you want deep rich sound this is NOT what your looking for, maybe good for a kids room.Update: 6/7/25. After the seller contacted me and replaced it with an updated version and with their help and proper settings it sounds great. Don’t just plug it in and expect perfection you need to adjust the settings to get the result you are looking for. The updated version is louder and the remote has a mid range volume so you can get the sound you want, it’s not a Bose but for the price it definitely is a good option!

awesome product, still new and learning its features.

I finally had to replace my Visio soundbar because I could never get it to work as expected. This Poseidon D80 system is just what I needed for my living room. I am not a sound expert at all, but I can make it work with my system which is a 75" Samsung TV and a Dish Network satellite receiver. I used the ARC HDMI connection and totally solved my sound lag that was present before which required me to have another device to move the sound between the TV and receiver. I even used another HDMI port on my TV to connect my Blueray player. The Samsung menu will now let me easily switch between devices. As I learn more I am really liking how this completes my system.

The media could not be loaded. Worked for 2 days, then sputtered and cut out, the sound was flipping in and out, just awful, even at best this sound bar wasn’t that great, just basic like a TV with a little more base, the surround was just left and right stereo, I wouldn’t consider this a surround sound, decent if you only want that but it’s a hard adjustment from a Vizio, I like the features and the remote EQ control but it’s a stereo not surround sound, and the quality isn’t there, only lasted 2 days
