Q: Are the grabbers easy to use? wanting to use as a therapy item for my son who has Cerebral Palsy - he has a hard time grabbing items w/ his left hand.

Initially my 2.5 year old had issues with them... she would put them aside and grab the insects with her hands (she was still grasping and sorting, so we went with it. Over time she's gotten better and better at using them, but there has been some frustration.

Q: Is this too old for two year olds?

I think it depends on the two year old's attention span You know your child better than anyone :) I bought it for a 5 year old and he loved it
