Have only used once so far, to blow off double tennis court. Usually it takes most of 2 - 2 A batteries to do the work. No problem with this 5 A battery, with lots to spare. EGO charger did its job well and it did function as if EGO battery.

My original battery was losing power so I ordered a backup. This has exceeded my expectations. I can cut twice the lawn on one charge than the original battery ever could. The only negative is that the charger continues to run after the battery is fully charged.

Wow! I was able to use this battery for a full hr with my EGO weedeater. My original battery lasted about 15-20 minute from the start. I will say though, this battery weighs significantly more than the original but I'm wasn't at bothered by that. Recommend for anyone with an EGO battery powered tool!

I thought I'd give this POWITEC battery a try as my EGO battery was losing its ability to hold a charge. So far it has been doing a great job, for less money. I'll just have to wait and see how it stands up to the test of frequent use and length of service.

I used the battery twice. The battery does not shut off the charger when the battery is fully charged. The fan on the charger runs continuously which means you have to watch the charge cycle and remove the battery when done. I leave my EGO batteries on the charger all summer and store them off the charger in the winter.I returned this one and spent $150 more for an authentic EGO battery. My last one lasted over 10 years. You get what you pay for. Maybe I'd consider it again when they correct the charging issue.
