Best Gardening Tool I’ve Ever Owned
By far my favorite gardening tool. I’ve been using this for two years now. This is consistently sharp and very well made . The handle is a comfortable width and nice length. I’ve not experienced any hand fatigue after using this tool for extended amounts of time or larger tasks. I use it for wedding, scraping back the top layer of garden beds to add amendments, mixing soil, cutting twine, easily chopping through roots and removing the top layer of grass in unwanted areas. I’ve bought this tool twice. The only reason I bought a second one is because I misplaced my first one out in the garden last year. I ended up finding it under my blackberry canes this spring. When I found it I thought it would be ruined. However, the handle was intact, no splits or cracks nor did it feel rough to the touch. The blade was still just as sharp and although discolored it was in perfect usable condition! I’m totally sold on this tool. Buy one for yourself, you will love it!

Convert
I kept hearing about this gardening tool, so I tracked this one down to try out. I am an official convert and I'm now out in the world telling others - here and in person.First, a bit of backstory: I had to have my C6 vertebra removed from my neck. I'm in surprisingly good form but do have a bit of nerve damage/weakness in my right ring and pinkie fingers. But I love gardening and don't use weed killer due to my dogs, so I pull a lot of weeds.Anyway, this tool arrived and it was love at first sight. The long handle is easy to grip and provides leverage when I dig it into the ground. The blade arrived really sharp and has held up well to my rocky soil. In addition, it is quite light weight, so easy to lug all over the yard. And I have lugged it all over. The sharpness of the blade is really effective at getting under the nastiest weed roots. The blade cleans off easily with just a little water.

Great tool
The media could not be loaded. Ok, this saved me at least another hour of cutting through St Augustine sod and digging it up with a flat shovel to create a border around wooden garden bed. Before I ordered this I would use an edging tool to cut a line parallel to the garden bed, then come in with a flat spade and jam it under the sod to try and save the sod so I could transplant it elsewhere that needed it.With this tool, I just cut the line with the edging tool, then came in and sliced under the sod and rolled it up. Not only was it way faster, less effort, and gave me a more consistent result and depth, it was actually a lot of fun. The handle length was just right for what I was doing. I could see how a standing height version of this tool would be great too, but that’s ok. Great garden work requires getting down in the dirt! It’s very light weight and sturdy, I had no issues. I will say that it’s rained for several days prior to me using it… I see a lot of people using it on bone dry dirt or dirt with rocks… I wouldn’t. Just pre-water a day before and maybe a few hours before your work to soften the soil and this will save you a lot of effort.I could hear a few rocks I hit and I cut through a bunch of roots about 1/4” thick with ease but the blade edge held. I’m going to be getting this guy professionally sharpened for sure. For the price, this is a very handy tool to have in your lawn arsenal. I can’t wait for the weeds or st Augustine to intrude into the edging so I can go touch it up.Don’t use it to cut big roots, don’t swing it… just drag/slice. Rocks and blades don’t mesh, common sense stuff. So for a rocky dry patch, you’re going to damage the edge and just cut the plants off at the base. This is a fantastic tool for a moderately good soil conditions.I uploaded a video. I make it look harder than it was because I was focused on the camera.Update: After using this to cut the sod from a 7’ diameter flower bed around a tree, I can say that I wish it had a more aggressive angle between the handle and blade. The handle/blade angle is such that the handle is mostly vertical (maybe 45deg) but this makes it difficult to pull and impossible to push. Two handed operation is ideal, but if your trying to cut sod you’re probably using your other hand to fit up the sod… I’d like a version of this that as your cutting allows you to PULL instead of this weird side motion you have to do. Like make me worry about my knuckles dragging on the ground kind of pulling angle. It was exhausting work, but I still prefer this and the cleaner results to trying to shovel the sod up.

Great-Sharp!
Great, really sharp. Just cuts the weed away from the root. Or I’ve also used it like a soil knife to loosen soil in order to pull the root out.Be careful when walking with it. Turn the blade away from you when walking or you could cut yourself. If you have a large weed with big roots or are trying to remove an area of established grass, this tool can help but is not quite strong enough if you want to pull with all your strength. It’s really meant for cutting smaller weeds just under the surface of the soil.

Well made, with care will last a while. Would buy again.
Well made, no obvious weak points in the creation. I can’t see any soldered parts to indicate welding. Handle looks nice and feels good in the hand. Advertises as sharp, meh, could use a good whetstone sharpening if you’re looking for a satisfying single slice of a weed. Overall very happy with it. Worth the $20.

Only if you are right handed!
It is sharp and seems well made, but it's very light -- and handle is a tad too thin for my hands. When using it, it tends to fly out of the hand being so light and it gets tangled in the branches more than it cuts them!It cuts due to its sharp blade -- and has no momentum because of being very light, so it has be angled very precisely. If you get the angle right (it is hard because it blade is angled and on one side!) - it will cut otherwise it just scrapes the branches. And surely it's not meant for left handed people!I wish it was a little heavier in the blade. Maybe the experts know how to wield it effectively, I am not sure I will ever get used to its weight. and angle -- I am sucker and rarely return items, but for me it's not a great buy!

It really makes weeding much faster and easier
An excellent garden tool. Look for videos of them in use. Sharp, fits between existing plants, and very effective! Much better than a standard handheld /short handled hoe. Super light weight. LOVE IT!

Easy to use
Great for weeding. Sharp blade cuts through anything. I even use the blade tip to dig out the weed roots to pull them out.
