Excellent machine for the price but marginal graphics performance and limited upgrade capability
Pros: Overall for the money (I got it on sale) it is an excellent machine. The 8 core/16 thread CPU crunches through calculations faster than my desktop Ryzen 7 2700X 8 core/16 thread CPU. The 1920x1080 display is beautiful. The 16g RAM is satisfactory and the 1tb SSHD is generous at the price point.Cons: Calling it a gaming computer is a stretch with its integrated GPU scoring a paltry 4279 (20th percentile) on 3D Mark 11 with it's integrated "AMD Radeon Graphics" GPU using 512mb shared memory. It has only 1 DDR4 SODIMM memory slot so to upgrade you need to purchase a 32mb DDR4 to replace the 16mb factory installed module. The SSHD is a M.2 type and with only 1 slot. To upgrade the stock capacity, a M.2 ssd greater than 1tb would need to be purchased to replace the installed module. Finally to use ethernet, a docking station or a USB hub with a ethernet port needs to be purchased because the machine has no built-in ethernet port and a external USB DVD drive if needed since it does not have a internal DVD drive either.

Horrible Laptop/No (Human) Customer Service to Talk With
Bought this laptop for my son on March 2nd. It was delivered on March 3rd. 13 days later-March 16th, I tried to contact the company regarding an overheating issue, laptop not fully turning on (would only display on a black screen and "AMI" which was flashing), and was only met with the Amazon automated chat bot seeing as the order was fulfilled through Amazon. I was never able to speak with a real person. My son was only able to use this laptop long enough to set up Windows before it all went downhill unbelievely fast. And with the refund policy being 30 days "as long as they are in original or unused condition", I was not able to get a replacement or a refund. My suggestion: Save your money. Buy a different laptop. Stay FAR away from this one. If I could have given 5 -0 stars, I would have... Unfortunately, I had to leave 1.

Nice laptop for most people, not for heavy gamers
It's a good laptop for the average user, and can handle games that aren't too graphically intense. The Vega 8 graphics are great for an integrated graphics option but it's not the same as a dedicated GPU. So if you want a "gaming" laptop that can handle AAA games, this isn't the computer for you. RDR2 stuttered and lagged even on the low settings, and it's pretty old. I doubt it's going to handle more modern titles like Cyberpunk. But Skyrim, with a bunch of mods, runs really smoothly on high settings.I upgraded the RAM to 32gb and it runs even better, but still not a true gaming computer. The sound quality is fantastic, but the volume output isn't terribly loud. The screen brightness is awesome and the picture quality is great. For watching videos or word processing, it's a great laptop. The two drawbacks that I have are the single SSD slot, and single channel RAM. So if you want to add a larger SSD, you have to reinstall Windows on the new drive and can't just add a secondary drive. And you're limited to 32gb of RAM in a single slot. Not deal breakers for a computer in this price range, but kinda annoying. In the BIOS it's listed as a generic brand, and has a very basic BIOS without many options, but that's only an issue for nerds. It comes with Windows 11, and at first glance says it's at its end of life and can't be updated... But I just clicked on the update now button and it started to download all the current windows updates. So it would seem that it's just a generic install of windows and for whatever reason the update option looks greyed out at first, but it's currently able to receive updates. The battery isn't the biggest, I think it's 8000mah or so, but it can run a game for about 2 hours before needing to be plugged in, at full brightness and volume. The bottom gets a little warm, due to the thin case and limited cooling system, but nothing out of the ordinary. The charger cable is pretty short, but if you have a USB-C laptop charger that is at least 100w, you can charge it with a longer USB-C cable. All in all, I would recommend this laptop for anyone who needs a computer for just about anything, besides AAA games or heavy video editing. For everyone else, this computer is a heck of a bargain!

Yes. Buy This Laptop.
This is a great laptop. I play old PC games on Steam and they run so smoothly now. The picture quality is awesome and the battery life is good even when playing games. The best part was that it came with windows already on it so all I had to do was charge it, turn it on, login and play! The laptop is nice and thin not bulky like some gaming laptops. If I had any issues with this laptop it’s that the charging cord isn’t that long but with the battery life and fast charging speed it hasn’t been that big of a deal.

Works great! Daughter loves it!
My daughter who’s a computer science major loves this laptop PC. She unfortunately cracked her old one so we needed one quickly so she could resume her important college computer course work which requires a lot of complicated coding and other challenging PC work. She needed more than just a web browser and data processor which would require lesser processing power. This PC has more than enough CPU and graphics power to get the job done and a full TB of storage. It came well packaged and was easy to use right out of the box at a nice price.

Gets pretty hot
Not really good for games with like high storage, gets super hot even when youre not playing games, i could just be looking something up on google and it gets super hot. My games are pretty laggy too but reviews said it was fine for them maybe its just mine but it works for now ig
