Great buget tv
Easy to setup, great picture and sound. Easily worth the money.

Well satisfied (eventually)
Sony used to be head and shoulders above other brands for picture quality but the difference, if reviews are to be believed, is now minimal. My 10 year old Sony finally gave up the ghost so, unwilling to pay an extra £150 for a similar sized Sony I opted for Samsung.Initially had problems on reliable start up - the standby LED would be flashing. Contact with Samsung support revealed this to signify a technical fault so was on the verge of returning this to Amazon. Perseverance has, so far, paid off and now appears reliable - much to my surprise.Overall picture quality is excellent - especially on HD sources - where tweaking the various options helps. One annoyance is Samsung's disabling of Teletext. A button on the remote plus inbuilt options have no effect so it seems likely that Samsung have had problems with their OS accepting this feature and have taken the easy route of disabling it. OK, so it's rather outmoded technology but many people still use it since the BBC decided to keep the service going even at a reduced information level.The only other slight negativity is the curved base of the remote which means it rocks when used on a flat surface.Sound is quite reasonable using the inbuilt speakers (usual flat screen TV reservations) but vastly improved using Samsung's dedicated Soundbar.

Excellent service as always.
Being old and no patience with technology, my daughter, easily set it up for me. Many things on it are unlikely ever to be used. But apart from that seems easy to use and good picture, sound and a very reasonable price.

good price and picture
easy to set up but beware conflicting pictures of the stand. the main picture shows a very small narrow stand in the middle but it is actually the wide stand in the second picture. alright if you have space but not if it is to go a small base! took a star of for the stand info.
