Normally, I do not leave reviews, but I am leaving one today. I am not a newbie to tattoos. I’ve paid my dues and did not want to feel the pain this go around. I bought this after reading the reviews on here and had a tentative hope that it would work. It exceeded my expectations. I sat for three hours on an outline in some delicate areas and felt no pain. I did not even realize the needle was on me when he first started. When he got to my ribs, the only thing I felt was the vibration of the needle. About three days before my appt, I started moisturizing heavily. On the day of the tattoo, I put on gloves and slathered a large amount of this cream in the area I would be getting done (still a LOT left in the tube) and wrapped it in cellophane about an hour before the appointment.. It numbed everything!! it also did not affect the quality of the stencil or the way the needle moved as I know happens with some numbing creams. 10 out of 10 recommend

This worked incredibly well. I was surprised.I put it on two hours before the appointment, very thick, and covered tightly with stretchy kitchen plastic wrap. Within an hour my forearm felt like it does when it “goes to sleep”. I couldn’t feel anything.Unfortunately I seemed to have had an allergic reaction and had to cancel my tattoo appointment. I’ll save the rest for sunburns or knee scrapes. I highly recommend it, but do yourself a favor and test it a few days before the appointment to be sure you don’t have a bad reaction like I did.

Made finishing my half sleeve a breeze. Hardly felt the needle. Definitely worth the money

This works better than expected... I've tried five or six different creams and this one was great, lasted for 4-5 hours

It didn't last as long as the instructions said. It lasted for half of the outline..so maybe about 1hr. I filled all instructions as stated on the tube. I will try another brand next time.

DOES NOT WORK. And I’m supposed to get the pit of my knee done in three days. So pray for me .

By far the best numbing creme you can get. Makes tattoos literally painless.
