I've been using this little fan with 3 wind speed modes (low/middle/high) and it's fantastic! It’s super compact, lightweight, and easy to carry around. The ice pack it comes with is really handy too. I love the 7 different colors of lights (blue, green, yellow, ice blue, red, purple, white) – they add a nice touch. Perfect for keeping cool while working in the garage. Highly recommend!

I got this portable A/C fan because I fish a lot. What???! Yeah, out on the boat it actually gets quite hot in the summer in the early afternoon forcing us off the water. This A/C fan won’t cool the entire crew, but it can cool some of us.The A/C fan seems well-constructed. The water storage tank is much larger than I expected and the little “reusable ice boxes” do work. For maximum lifetime, one should only use purified, or even better, distilled water to prevent mineral deposit build-ups where the water is misted. These ice boxes let you cool even more without having to freeze distilled water ice cubes.I have not verified the battery life as specified in the user manual, but it did charge mostly full in a couple hours. I think the LED lights are gimmicky – unless I can use them to attract fish – but all the other buttons are functional and useful. I could tell from the slight fan speed drop that the water pump turned on when I turned on the humidifier option, and definitely felt a temperature drop for each higher setting. It should be noted that this is essentially a boxed mister-fan, or just a small swamp cooler: it will work well in everything but high humidity environments.The unit comes with a remote which I did not really test out. I figure that this A/C can really only cool a small area – either just you when you hug it during operation, or a very small room. In either case, the actual controls are not very far away and the remote just seems superfluous.There are only two very minor issues: The water lid has weird text markings for open/close. It says, “ON <=== OFF” but the “N” is backwards [or maybe it is supposed to say “NO” but upside down?]. The arrow actually points in the OPEN direction, not the CLOSE (or “OFF”?) direction. But, if you just close your eyes and open or close as you would normally open or close something, you’ll be fine. The other issue is that it is impossible to empty the water reservoir completely – the edge on that fill door traps the water when you try to pour it out and you have to work really hard to get most out when you plan to store the unit.I think the price is a little high [$59.99 at the time of this writing] BUT ask me in the middle of a hot afternoon out on the lake when the fish are still biting and I’m blowing cold air to cool myself!These are all of course very minor issues and do not affect the 5 star rating.

someone finally did it. they cashed in on the ice cube fan AC unit & good for them.I knew this was a solid choice from the start because every one of my clubhouses had this system in it during the summers. minus the electric sprayer.. just a massive bowl of ice & my grandmothers heat flash fan. a simple concept that works.this simple little machine really does make a difference. not in the way your 16 million BTU window unit would but it's great for when youre working on the car in the summer & feel like youre going to pass our so when youre within 6 inches of it & almost get your hair caught in the fan...thats where its at... its not going to cool an entire room. in fact, it will hardly cool your own personal space .. but, it does make a difference & when its 500000 degrees outside .... it really feels great for such a simple concept...im happy with it & it is supposed to spray a mist on two different strengths... idk if I am doing something wrong or it evaporates before it reaches my bubble... but the idea that it could do it gives me hope... it really does feel nice in the summer.. you just have to think about it a litle harder than the window unit.
