Won't know until the spring but seems a worth while product
I got this for a Vine product review to use on the wood floor in the gazebo. It appears I missed a few words in the product description because you can imagine my surprise when it arrived and I was expecting a gallon bottle and got what is about 2 cups of product! Just glad I was not reading properly because my first thought was "who would pay $39.99 for this tiny thing!!"Needless to say this seems awesome. The tiny container is concentrated so you dilute it and it makes the gallon I was expecting. It will cover approximately 350sf, is eco-friendly, waterproofs and weatherproofs wood, can be used indoors and outdoors, and is easy to apply.I am looking forward to the spring when I will be able to apply it to the gazebo flooring and see how it fares over the summer and fall months. If it wears out and does not work as well as is described I will update this post.Until then I recommend this product!

Effective and Eco-Friendly: A Great Waterproofing Solution
When I opened the package of Saavysil Eco-Friendly Silicone Premium Wood Waterproofing Sealer, I initially thought there had been some sort of mistake. Understanding that this was a concentrated product, I wasn’t quite prepared for just how small the bottle was. However, the small footprint of this product is a testament to its efficiency, and it’s a trade-off I genuinely appreciate, both for convenience and for the environmental benefits. The concentrated nature means less packaging waste, and that’s something we can all get behind.I needed this sealer for a specific project at my kids’ high school marching band. We had a set of wooden props that needed protection from the rain, and this product seemed like the perfect solution. The process was straightforward. I poured the entire pint of concentrate into my pump garden sprayer and then added water up to the one-gallon mark. Mixing it up was easy, and I was ready to go.Application was a breeze. I started with a light initial coat, making sure to cover all the surfaces, including the end grains, which are typically more susceptible to water damage. I then brushed the sealer into the wood to ensure it penetrated deeply. After letting the first coat dry, I applied an even lighter second coat, brushing it in again to make sure every area was thoroughly covered. The immediate results were impressive. The sealer went on smoothly, and there was no noticeable change to the appearance of the wood, which I appreciated. It simply looked like untreated wood, but with the added confidence that it was now protected from the elements. The real test came sooner than expected, as we experienced rainfall within the week. The props held up beautifully, showing no signs of water damage or soaking. The water simply beaded up and rolled off, confirming that the sealer was doing its job effectively. While this particular project was short-term and didn’t allow me to observe the long-term durability of the sealer, the initial performance was outstanding. I’m confident that it will continue to protect the wood for a significant period, given how well it handled the first rainfall. The manufacturer claims it provides long-lasting protection, and based on my experience so far, I have no reason to doubt that.Another aspect worth mentioning is that this sealer is VOC-free. For those unfamiliar, VOCs, or volatile organic compounds, are chemicals that can be harmful to both health and the environment. The fact that Saavysil’s sealer is free of these compounds makes it an even more attractive option, especially for projects involving kids, like I was at the school, or for anyone concerned about the air quality around their home.Cleaning up after application was simple as well. Since it’s water-based, there were no harsh chemicals to deal with, and my brushes and sprayer cleaned up easily with just soap and water. This ease of use extends the appeal of the product, making it accessible for both experienced DIYers and those new to home improvement projects.Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with the Saavysil Eco-Friendly Silicone Premium Wood Waterproofing Sealer. It exceeded my expectations in terms of ease of application, effectiveness, and environmental friendliness. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable wood sealer for decks, fences, furniture, or any other wooden surfaces that need protection from the elements. It’s a four-star product in my book, only missing the fifth star due to the initial confusion over the bottle size. But once you get past that, you’ll find it’s a stellar performer in every other aspect.

Small container of water based silicone water proofer ECO
This compact package is designed to be diluted with water for use on wood. The product is quite liquid and is only effective on dry, untreated wood. It effectively repels water without leaving any residue. Although I have previously applied siloxanes to concrete and pavers, I have not done so on wood. The application feels akin to brushing or spraying water. As it dries, the silicone penetrates and bonds with the surface. Regrettably, the listing and packaging provide scant details about the product, including its longevity, composition, or mode of action. If environmental friendliness is a priority, this product may be suitable. Based on my experience with siloxanes on concrete, it's worth noting that once applied, it cannot be overcoated with a different product, you must keep using this same type.

Good results and easy to use
I liked that it is a concentrate, so that it saves space in the garage. I am able to mix up only what I need to avoid waste. I applied it with a brush, and protection seems pretty good. I love that it is water based, which makes clean up a breeze.

Water sealer
This is a really good water sealer. My husband mixed it up and used it on our back yard bench. It mixed up easily and was easy to paint on. It didn't really have a bad smell, and after drying overnight the bench looked great the next morning. I was very pleased.

Zero odor
I am super impressed with the no odor VOC-free. I am so sensitive to VOCs that as a precaution I opened this outside but zero odor even when I was right next to the bottle. I also love that it's a concentrate so it takes so much less room to store and that it was also eco-friendly even in the shipping of a smaller and lighter weight package. I out this on my wood planters and am hoping this allows them to last much longer since wood in Florida usually starts breaking down so that planters are lucky to last a year. Obviously I can't say how well it works for making them last yet but it's easy to mix and to apply so high hopes that the longevity is as good as the rest of my experience with this product

concentrated - details..
This is a little different- a concentrated solution to reduce the large containers/waste.I diluted this according to the instructions. It was a watery-white solution, pretty similar to water based exterior finishes I've used. It also went on the same. I used a foam brush, but my experience is that it's the same as a bristle brush. After drying and a quick sand I did another coat, then let it dry overnight. Water beaded up on it nicely.Over time it will show how good it is. At this point it's impossible to tell, but so far it goes on and short term characteristics are the same as other exterior clear finishes.

Lots of coverage in a small jar
Don't be fooled when you get this tiny jar, wondering how on earth it will cover your entire project. This concentrated sealer made it so easy to store until I needed it, add just enough to my bucket for my fence and still have plenty leftover, yet still in the small container so it doesn't take up as much space in my shed.
