The blue cover is removable and machine washable. I like that very much. It’s super easy to take the insert in and out. The insert is the part that has the heating element. The waist line can be tied tighter or looser to cater to the measurement.

I put the internal pad in the microwave for 60 seconds, as is listed in the instructions. I ended up getting about 8 or so minutes of what I'd consider moderate acceptable heat. I tend to like my heating pads hotter, though, so you may get more time out of yours. The filling on the internal pad is a little light - I ted to get more heat out of another pad I have that has more filling. The area of the pad is good for my spine area but I wish it were a little wider (but I'm a pretty big individual with a 40 inch waist). For me, a big guy who likes these to put out a lot of heat, I was a little disappointed but my wife was happy with the size and heat output. The price is about as much as my larger, more filled pad, but the pad doesn't come with a cover or a way to tie it around your waist either, so I feel like this is an appropriate value given those tradeoffs.

This heating pad is so, so soft and velvety and I love that you can tie it around your waist or neck so you don't have to keep rearranging it to hit the right spot when you move. I love that the fill sack is removable so you can wash the cover. The filler is flaxseed, which is fine, but I have found that eventually I will burn the flaxseed trying to get it hot enough, so I plan to open the stuff sack and replace it with rice eventually, but it works great for now until I burn it. :) I would recommend this product.

This is a nice microwavable heating pad, and although it isn't my favorite that I have it's still a good one!I like that its a good size that's perfect for my lower back or on my lap for cramps, and that the cover is VERY soft and plush. I like that it has a removable insert for heating (less for me to feel paranoid about in the microwave!) and that it is filled with natural fillings and not plastic or glass beads.I'm not a huge fan of the wrap around belt as it doesn't always keep it in place, and the weighted insert filling has a tendency to shift a bit unevenly (see photo) especially if you're sitting or standing. Yay gravity! But if you're laying down it's less of a hassle so you don't have to keep adjusting it.

The Comfpack Microwave Heating Pad is big enough to wrap around an average size waist for your back or abdomen, if you're a plus size, you'll need to just set it on the area of concern. There's an inner removable pad filled with natural heatable filling (walnut grits listed on the package). You heat that in the microwave for 30+ seconds, slip it into the plush covering and you get about a half hour of heat, depending on how hot you like it. The outside of the cover is furry and the inside is a short plush. It says you can freeze it and use as a cold compress, but I haven't tried that yet. I wish the ends had velcro or something rather than having to tie bulky plush ties.

I'm pleased with this heat pad. It's incredibly soft and cozy. I like that it has long fabric straps that allow me to tie it securely around myself. Its size is perfect, covering my lower back or abdomen comfortably. However, I've noticed that it retains its heat for only about 10-15 minutes. Despite this, I'm still pleased with it especially due to its softness and the straps.

It arrived on time and packaged well! It is made of durable, soft material and feels of great quality! My husband used it immediately and he couldn't be happier! Not too heavy on the back and can be worn for extended periods of time! It even came with a cute bookmark, which was a great surprise!

This heating pad is great for soothing my lower back. It's easy to heat up in the microwave, and stays warm for a while. I especially like that the cover is removable, so it can be washed when needed.
