12 Amazon Frogbit (Limnobium Laevigatum), Live Aquarium/Aquatic Floating Plant by G&Z

I wasn’t expecting much because it was so cold out and the reviews were mixed but this came perfect WAY better than expected. Nicer than the ones I got at the fish store. I am going to purchase more. Also paid less than I did at the fish store and got more.

Here is what I've discovered with this plant. It came looking healthy, but it didn't have much roots. That is totally expected. The roots are highly fragile and my guess is during shipping they were destroyed. I really didn't see any. There was die off at first, but since the roots have established, this plant is doing amazing and unfurling new leaves daily. It seems to be a hardy plant that would take over a pond, but big enough so that it isn't a pain in an aquarium like duckweed. I am really happy on this purchase. Pretty soon I'll be able to pull some from this bowl and put it in the other I have downstairs. The betta fish loves it. The plant really adds a new element to the fish bowl. I attached a picture. After the intial die off, there was about 1/4 of what you see in the picture. The growth has exploded in the past week. I've had the plant for about a month.I have a 50w halogen spotlight on it and do weekly water changes with tap treated with stress coat. Our water here is hard, north-central IL.

I’ve ordered many times, but the quality of these leaves are really poor. Was going to reach out to seller but no option. Hoping to get a replacement as my previous orders were very good quality.

Product arrived in only a couple days! Excellent condition and was packaged very well! I ordered 12 amazon frogbit and received about 14 individual plants. Some even came with side-shooters and all were mature and in excellent condition. I ordered this frogbit to help lower my well waters high nitrates out of the tap. It's only been a few days since adding this plant to my tank and it has already started to reproduce! I can't wait for it to take off with it's fast growth rate as I plan on adding it to my other tanks as well. I plan on using fishing line and suction cups to corral off an area for this plant to multiply and grow. Without blocking all the light off from my other aquatic plants. I know a lot of people that would agree that this particular floating plant is one of the best floating plants money can buy! It's the perfect size, and the most attractive easy floating plant that can produce beautiful white flowers too. Would buy again!

Arrived alive and healthy… but also arrived covered in duckweed. Not something I want to even chance going in my tank because once it’s in it never goes away. Unfortunately I had to throw the whole thing away to avoid getting duckweed. So disappointing :/ I suppose someone out there may be happy to get two plants for the price of one however, and they were all alive and green.

Plants themselves are healthy and well priced HOWEVER I cannot reccomend this product. They came in with duck weed basically glued to the plants, and I cleaned them off (still got a few leaves of duckweed in my tank....) and then, after adding them I have noticed bladder snails. I'm not happy with this. I did my best to avoid it but still.
