Does exactly what it says on the tin
I bought this along with a GBA for my son's Sixth birthday and he can't get enough of it. Yes the game play and graphics aren't up to PS2 Standards but then it isn;t being played on a PS2. Having varying levels and using all the film characters including frozone by boy is utterly enthralled. Easy enough for him to be getting on with by himself most of the time and yet challenging enough for him to have to ask for dad's help every now and again. Would recommend

Very like the film, but gameplay is slow, boring and limited
I was full of high hopes for this game, as I loved the film. I expected a visually gorgeous, complex, engrossing and fun game, but, alas, that is NOT what I got. While it has some shots from the film and looks good (not great, just good), its cons definitely outweigh the pros.Cons:- all you do is fight people- nothing engrossing- character control is very poor- Mr Incredible moves SO slowly, it's so frustrating!- It's hard to tell if you are level with the "baddies", and therefore whether you can hit them- you can't go back from where you came, or explore the levels- you just move along killing people. Boring.- It doesn't save your progress, but reverts to the good ol' password method.- The levels are monotonous- When you start a level again, you still have to go through all the silly speech bubble things, which hold progress up even MORE! (not good for a game that already fails to engage!)I could go on... basically I think that the only good thing about this game is that it looks quite good, and is tied to the movie, which is a fantastic movie.I would advise anyone looking for the same things out of a game as I was- fun, absorbing, challenging, great to explore etc etc- NOT to buy this game, you will be disappointed.

What is the attraction?
I decided to buy this for my 8 year old son, along with the gba as we are travelling alot this summer. We have a PS2 at home and that is fine, but apart from the fact that this fits in your pocket, I really do not see the attraction to it.We all enjoy the graphics and gaming capabilities of our PS2 and friends x-box - in comparison this game is a trip back to the games of the mid eighties (and not in a fun nostalgic way either.) All you do is scroll along punching people, it is awful. He has had it less than 24 hours, and like others who have written a review, has virtually completed it.Not impressed at all. It only gets two stars for the Elastagirl stretchy bits!
