AEM Air Intake Systems are designed to produce massive horsepower and torque gains as well as better engine sound when used as a replacement for the factory airbox and air filter. AEM intake systems are designed, tuned, and dyno-tested to fit specific cars and trucks. These air intakes usually include an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration, and performance while allowing easy oil-free cleaning. Most AEM intake systems use mandrel-bent aluminum intake tubes, powder coated heat shields, and high quality hardware designed to reduce restriction and reduce intake temperature. The design and components of each intake system vary so consult the installation instructions for more information on the contents of each part number. AEM manufactures a variety of intake kit styles including short ram intakes, cold air intakes, dual-chamber intakes, Brute Force intakes for trucks and SUV's, and Brute Force HD intakes for diesel applications.

Awesome Intake
I own an 05 RSX type S and I just got my intake from Amazon for a really good price lower than any other place online. Since I installed it the engine sounds a lot better and the throttle feels a little more responsive. The installation wasn't hard at all pretty simple instructions and there's no modifications u have to do to fit it in the car and it comes with everything u need to install. It helps with my gas mileage too I've been getting a couple more miles than before. Its a great intake for the price it is. Thanks amazon!!!

Nice performance, subtle difference in engine sound
The stock instructions were understandable. A few steps were missing but easy to figure out. I would recommend installing this in a well lit area. Be patient, the intake and the air filter should not be touching anything within the car.In response to the increase torque and horsepower, you can really feel the performance within 1-4 gears. Not much difference in sound, which I prefer. "Silent but deadly"..... I have an 2004 Acura RSX Type S, not much room in the engine compartment, so be sure to adjust the intake near he throttle body for proper placement.Other than that,a solid intake...

Ok Intake
Did not achieve perfect fit on 06 RSX Type S like AEM website said it would. But Amazon said it did not fit but I went with AEM's word when they were wrong. Overall intake sounds great on VTEC.

Loved it
Very nice intake, made my car sound a little bit more aggressive. The boost in power and sound is noticeable but nothing major. As far as gas mileage goes it didnt seem to effect it really seems the same. over all great intake, and priced real well on here looked around and found it cheapest here avg 60 bucks cheaper here on amazon.
