I have a 2017 F150 XLT and I wanted to add these to give it a slightly more Lariat look to it. When I opened the box they looked great, but I noticed the "3M" red tape didn't say 3M. Before you install a pieces like that it is usually recommended to properly wipe clean with and alcohol pad. I did that, removed the "3M" tape, and pressed it for a lil while but it kept coming off. I left it on with blue painters tape over it so it would stay in place and the next morning it still didn't stick. I really like how it looks and that's why I'm giving it 2 stars, but I'm going to have to go buy some actual 3M tape and try to reinstall it with that. I wish it was as easy as described on Amazon that it just sticks on and that's it.

I have a 2016 Ford F150 Lariat that I bought these pieces for, which are a real nice addition to the interior look. When installing them I noticed the adhesive tape wasn't labeled 3M, no markings at all. All 3M tape that I have used in the past is marked, so that was the first sign of a problem with the tape on the pieces, it wouldn't stick! The surfaces were clean and the temperature of the pieces were at least 65 degrees at the time of installation. I was unable to get them to stick good enough to stay in place. I ended up buying a roll of 1/4in. 3M tape and replaced all the original tape on the pieces in order to get them to stick. I would only recommend you buying the trim pieces if you are willing to remove this tape and replace it with 3M, then it will stick and look great in your truck!

Knowing the variations in temperature in which my 2018 F150 goes 40 below zero to a high of 120° . I therefore used super glue for the installation.

The drivers side and passenger side control panels are not the same shape on the 2015 F150 XLT SuperCrew Cab pickup truck and this product only fits the passenger side. I was very disappointed. I could not return the product because I had already installed the passenger side. The drivers side does not fit.

The adhesive used is a joke. Bought these in August and both of these have disappeared. The fit in the grooves is not good. Don’t buy these unless you plan to glue them in.

Product is garbage. Comes bent, will not stick. I tried changing the tape with something stronger, heating it with a heat gun, using strong glue... nothing works, will not stick. Total waste of money.

Guys these are very nice sorry ass tape they use I don’t re tape it’s much easier too use light glue too pin them down other than that they look good mines 2019 f250 super crew can fx4 larait

The pieces did not fit very well and the adhesive was terrible. I actually had to take the tape that came with it off and put new tape on both pieces. Now it looks great but not worth the price.
