I am so happy I found this product. I am 37 years old and extremely active. I work full time, and have a 3 year old and a 1 year old to keep up with. I had an accident last year resulting in a lower back herniated disc, and 2 back surgeries last summer. I woke up from the second back surgery with severe foot drop. I am doing so much better overall, but the foot drop has been improving incredibly slowly. I hated the clunky, uncomfortable, and expensive AFO I got at the hospital from day one. I ordered the Saebo Step (also expensive) a few months ago and it was working well, but I was frustrated because it only works with a limited number of shoes (you need to put special screws in your shoes, which are not easy to rotate to other shoes, and are expensive to keep ordering).So on a whim I decided to order this brace, feeling like there was a small chance this inexpensive brace would work well. I am so happy to report that it is working great for me. I can wear it under my jeans, it is soft and comfortable on my ankle (more comfortable than my other braces), and most importantly, it lifts my foot enough that I can walk on any terrain, for miles. I just took a trip and logged 16,000 steps on my Fitbit in one day, wearing this brace all day.I've read all the reviews for this brace, and it looks like it doesn't work for some people. I think if you're curious if this would work for you, give it a try, because you may be like me and it will work perfectly. I also should say that I've found a double loop works best for me (you can kind of see in the picture).To everyone dealing with foot drop, I feel your pain, because this ailment is super annoying. I hope this product works as well for you as it does for me.

I have this foot brace in black. Like it so much I ordered it in grey. I like this one the best because it works just as was promised. The adjustment straps work well and the fit around the ankle holds it firmly in place. It holds up my foot enough to keep me from stubbing my foot. I would get a third one in beige i one were available..

I thought there are those who might be interested in reading a review from someone who wore this brace for 7 months. I ordered this foot brace back in January and have worn it just about everyday, mainly for outdoor work. This particular brace has helped me walk, without tripping, while cutting the grass and doing other outdoor tasks. It's lightweight, very comfortable to wear and easy to put on. I bought a multi-pack of longer velcro straps (pictured), that attaches to my work boots, because the one that came with the brace is too short IMO. The longer strap allows you to pull your foot up even higher, which is then secured onto the main ankle wrap. The only thing negative about this brace, aren't the clips (they've held up well), it's the thin strip of velcro on the edge of the ankle wrap (pictured). The velcro has now worn out after 7 months and doesn't hold that well. However, considering the price, the comfort and the ease of putting this brace on, I'd probably buy a new one every year.

Great product! Tricky to get on, requires practice to put it on. Helps with toe drop- greatly improves walking without scuffing an tripping. Easier to leave the velcro strip in the laces and detach . Hard to manuever when removing or putting on shoe. Velcro is very very secure and sticky. A video of putting on would be helpful. Requires laces or straps on shoes. Is a miracle product.

Have worn for 30 days and though it is functional, velcro has warn out and comes loose while walking even with 2 straps. Have had 2 strokes and broken 5 plastic swedish afo,s seems these companys need your constant cash flow while providing cheap garbage to the handicap.

These lightweight ankle braces were introduced to me by my physical therapist when she noticed another patient was using. I have problems with both of my ankles where I have trouble lifting my feet when walking. I have AFO braces that are bulky and attach around my shin near my knees. I have to wear loose pants to cover them and they are not very attractive so I tended not to wear shorts or dresses. I was always complaining to my therapist that there has to be a better solution. Once she recommended these I immediately ordered them and wow - what a difference. I hardly feel them on my ankles. I can walk around pretty easily and can wear any type of pants that I want including leggings without much notice. Because both of my feet are affected I still have balance problems but I am hoping that the more I walk with these my balance will get better.

This is perfect for my “drop foot” after my second knee replacement surgery!

I have severe foot drop and this brace has been great. Easy to use, inexpensive and it works. Makes walking so much easier. My only complaint is that the Velcro sticks everywhere and the top of the strap is a little difficult to figure out at first. Definitely worth the price.
