I'm basically bald. I don't even own a brush. I don't buy shampoo. But I have a 16 year old daughter and she says this is the best thing I've every bought for her. It damn well better be, given what I paid for it. 😂. Moral of the story: If you trust 16 year old girls, this is a high end hair dryer that is worth the money you spend on it. If you are the balding father of a 16 year old girl, this is a high end gift that will win the temporary affection of your kid. Win-Win, right?

Super disappointed with this product. I have wanted this thing for YEARS and finally pulled the trigger. I got it, unboxed it, turned it on, used it for less than 15 minutes when it just...turned off. It started flashing red, so the manual says that indicates a dirty filter. How?! IT'S BRAND NEW. So I took the filter off, blew it, replaced it. Then it's flashing white, which I guess means there's still something wrong with the filter. I looked it up and I found that can be a sign of overheating. But I used it less than 15 minutes not even on the heat setting! I also was completely unable to connect it to Bluetooth. I was hoping that if I connected it it would tell me exactly what was wrong and how to fix it but nope. It would not connect.I contacted Dyson support and they said they wouldn't do anything for me since it was purchased through Amazon. Amazon, thankfully, is exchanging it but I am highly disappointed in this. For being a FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR piece of equipment, I expected much, MUCH better from Dyson.I hope I just received a defective product, and will update my review of the next one works as intended.

You'll also realize how easy it is to use. The two different heat levels are perfect for all types of hair. There's an attachment for everyone's hair style. It's important not to dry your hair too much. Once you've done that, it's difficult for your hair to hold a curl. The cold air injector button assures that the curls are set.

Works really well, I will say the price is a bit outrageous but I feel like compared to my other blowout tools, this is game changer in how much time it saves and how much better it is on my hair. If you can shell out $$$ this is for you.I will say the ID part of it literally makes so difference. It’s just an app you have to download and it presets the heat and cool setting only for curls. If you’re debating between the standard model and this one, just go with the standard model

I know they have the new model released, Coanda x2, but it was too expensive, and they are still out of stock.I decided to gift my wife this version because she prefers the heat not to be too strong, so it won't damage her hair. I read that Coanda X2 gets super hot, although that may be better for the most of people.Also, the small dryer is perfect for use on my 4-year-old's hair.
