You'll get full volume within a few seconds of turning it on. I recommended wiring your board up with your mute on first for gigs. As for when the tubes warm up, maybe after 20 minutes of playing? Rats and TS style pedals will get these to familiar places pretty quick. This is more of a grab and go amp, great for gigs, band practice, and even home with the low power paired with pedals.
