brilliant card, can record a surprisingly long message, usually these cards can only record 5-10 seconds. can also re-record as many times as you like. easy to use, great purchase.

Works well, better than expected to be fair. One minute recording is longer than some others.

Following my dad’s stroke he is unable to write. He wanted to send a special message to my niece (his granddaughter) for her 21st Birthday.I normally right all his card with him verbalising to me his message.This was the ideal solution, he recorded his message and my nieces face was an absolute picture when she opened the card and listened to the message. We placed this inside another card and added some decorations.The record function is so easy to use and if left in (you can turn it off at the back), the message plays when opened.Expensive, but to us as a family, it was worth it!

So I bought this for a good friend's birthday and the message was meant to be a funny surprise. We followed the instructions and there was no beep, no light. Tried again. Panicked and got mad at the card, switched on and off again and still nothing. Finally, at some point ist worked. I'm not sure what we did differently, maybe pressing into the battery? Maybe they were slightly misaligned at first? I have no idea. But once it worked, it was great. Easy to record, rerecord and play. The sound was loud and the surprise was great. So if it doesn't work for you, keep pushing it, change the position, etc. Maybe you'll get lucky as I did!

Really lovely card!Purchased it to record voice messages from loved ones to keep on it forever.The card is easy to operate,instructions were easy to follow.I had to create an audio file on my phone,because I needed to combine 3 voice messages from my husband,my best friend and my favourite singer,still had space for little segment of a song at the end!So 40 seconds time is more than enough.The sound quality is very good and clear too!Very pleased!You can also put pictures on the card.It fit three on mine,one on the front and two inside(horizontal ones).The card comes with batteries included.

We used 3D fabric paint/glue to make a tactile card for our blind 4yo daughter. The message we recorded for her was really clear and sufficiently loud. We didn't even need the full 40s runtime which is quite generous for this kind of thing. It is by far her favourite card and has listened to it many many times now.The card is thick and stiff - at least 300gsm or more. Its quite shiny but it worked fine for our use. Prit sticking to this card would work well too. Not sure if the recording is lost when replacing the batteries, time will tell i guess!

Am disappointed that I had to give this one star - it does not work - made my card and then went to record. Battery seems completely dead - tried to return on the amazon website - but you just go round and round - it never lets you complete the return - if you want to throw away a tenner - this does the job effectively
