Update at the bottom.I definitely love RedDragon products. I own more than just this mouse.When it first came in and I saw the matte finish, I knew I would run into this situation but I wanted to be skeptical. I had a white matte finish mouse a while back and had the same situation. I've had this mouse since March so not even 2 months, and the color is already fading away. I have two. One is for work and the other one is for gaming. The first picture is the matte finish one and the other one is a glossy finish and I've had that longer and it's in perfect condition. This mouse just throws off my whole aesthetic.It is very reliable though as far as speed and accuracy for sure just like my other mouse. Very fast. Just not sure why they have to make this one matte.Update: Mike from this company's support team has been reaching out and sent a new mouse. He's been on top of it. I certainly appreciate good customer service. Thank you.

This is by no means the highest quality mouse you can buy, if that wasn't already obvious by the price tag.However, I have only praises to sing for this mouse, as I have been using it for just over 4 years now and it still functions well enough to pass as new. I have thrown it most every day of the last 4 years in a backpack with no case and little protection, but it has still lasted with nothing more than surface scratches. The DPI buttons are convenient, and I enjoy the extra functionality of the side buttons that you can use.I do wish that the mouse had more customizability, as I have looked into it and not found any easy way to change the side buttons for different programs like CAD software or art programs, but as far as a mouse goes for everyday work, wear and tear, and very non-serious gaming, this thing works like a charm.

It's a great mouse for the price! It's beautiful. It works pretty well and glides well. It's my first "gaming" mouse, and I'm not much of a gamer, so I may not be the best judge of its latency, but it seems to be perfect for some light gaming that I did.The one missing star is because it came with a slightly misaligned sticker at the bottom that made some awkward noise while rubbing against the mat, so I had to remove it.The one big downside (which I don't know if it is intended and can be altered) is that with 2 minutes of inactivity, it sort of stops sensing any movement. You have to click some button on it (left or right click) to get it into an activated state again.It fits pretty well in my hand overall. The grip on the left catches some dirt easily, but I guess that's my fault for not keeping my hands clean the entire time. Bluetooth connection would have made it a perfect deal but it is the best you can get for the price.Overall a really nice buy!

No need for an expensive gaming mouse, this thing works great. usbc recharging is great. A bit of a finger print magnet.

Great mouse for my kid, we're slowly working our way up to responsibility and keeping our sutff nice, so red dragon was the way to go for his first build, as he gets older he'll get to try out new stuff, but for now this mouse works wonders, it can be wired or wireless, and it turns off when not in use for him
