A great book I use with my piano students. Just the right amount of concepts I want them to learn in each key without being overwhelming. Includes 2 octave parallel scale, contrary motion, in 3rds and 6ths, diatonic chords, cadences AND arpeggios in root, 1st and 2nd inversions.

Just what my daughter needed

Still in the beginning stages of using these books but so far very please. I am 70 and though it might be too much of a challenge (or boring) but was wrong on both counts.

This is a book every piano student should own for their entire lifetime. Each key is complete on two pages with scales and arpeggios using different motions, chords with inversions. Wish the 'Circle of Fifths' in front cover was illustrated as a circle.

My children are learning from this, since my son started the scales in piano with this book he is much better in violin, reading the scales and knowing his flats, sharps and scales. Very happy. As you can see the scales take 2 pages and at the end you have the last 2 photos I took

Since I have started teaching piano again, I have bought this book for all my students, and one for myself! It has helped them all in many areas of their training. It has all the major, minor, etc. scales, as well as the corresponding chords, cadences and arpeggios. I strongly believe in learning scales, which is almost a lost art in today's music.
