DELL LATITUDE D630 CORE 2 DUO 2.2GHz 120GB 2GB DVDRW 14"WIDE XP PRO WI-FI

This laptop was exactly what I needed to run an older program designed for xp.The laptop received was in mint condition, no obvious wear, battery was still charged and it booted up faster than my Dell windows 10 laptop. Very happy with my purchase!

Prodct took twice as long as promised to be delivered. But it did finally arrive in fairly good condition as described.

Well, not much of a review.. I have ordered many of the dell latitude D620's and D630's over the last 5 years, but this last purchase, wasnt even worth the packing material it was shipped in. If your looking for a decent bussiness maching with bells and whistles. its a good machine itself, durable. 2007-2011 era. (i am older and remember them, sadly). good work horse. a bit slower them most would like.. The purchance I got today was a franken-hack. none of the system parts mached. batter DOA, screen broken, Ram not right speed for frontside bus. I was very disappointed this time around. its not even worth my time to refurbish.. I cant even use it for a paper weight. I used to leave pictures up, but the last 3-4 years, sellers and amazon has deleted anything "bad", must be happy happy, with fixed or solved for PC sake. don't want to upset anyone..to the seller. what makes you think that shipping a product thats been franken-hacked is acceptable? two selling a laptop with one OS advertised and having a different Oem label is illigal anyway. (no one cares about that anymore), and where the hell did you keep all the screws? theres like 6 holding the whole thing together. and a single think layer of bubble wrap to travel 3500 miles. and 12 stopps, in a box thats 2x the size of the product on a single layer of bubble wrap. (did you eat paint chips as a child?!! and amazon. oh lovely amazon. I know this is a hard concept for you "gotta lift less more often, dont want anyone to get a papercut".. at least teach people how to back a dam box and use common snese when doing it. A and when the label says fragile, and this side up. (hint spoiler. (that means something) !!! "wee" bit goes a long way.. Not happy with this fly by night op. rather go get a speak and spell, at least it can still add 2+2 after 57 years. Not happy at all, 100 of these over 5 years and this thing looks like someone stole it out of an office and piced it together with sctoch tape then throw it out a window. sad day when people have no honor in what they do anymore. I rather you credit my money back, send me a box and a return label. I aint paying for send this P.O.S> back to you. I'll call ya and you can come get it yourself.

I bought this for my 13 year old son as his birthday gift because he's very interested in older (pre Windows 7) and retro computers, consoles and video games. He wanted a laptop with XP on it and this one has it, or I had assumed anyway based on the product title and description.Maybe there was an error on my side for misunderstanding the product details list but I assumed it would come with the charging brick, it did not. It also didn't come with an internal hard drive so it won't boot 😅I will give credit where it's due though and say it was packaged and protected in the box very very well and arrived very quickly. As for the laptop itself the external shell looks fantastic, it's in beautiful condition. Very little damage or signs of pre-use. The keys are in perfect condition and the screen is as well, unfortunately I can't check to see if the actual computer works because it's missing the hard drive and charger.

I see quite a few reviews complaining about the operating system being outdated. So don't buy an XP system if you want a new laptop with Windows 10 or later. XP systems will not play the latest videos and are not intended for internet surfing, etc.If you need to have XP, or prefer it for your use than this is a great buy. This laptop also has an old fashioned DB9 serial port for those of us who still have need for that. Also has 3 USB ports. I did have to install some drivers that were on the hard drive but not installed. One great feature about this laptop is that I can turn off the annoying tapping feature on the touchpad to avoid starting unwanted programs and erasing data without intending to do so.

It came quickly and works like a dream. No bad marks and is clean. Ready for this great book l'm going to write.That is all i wanted it for,and the price was right.so it's perfect for me.

Clean pc, however the CD driver didn't work and I had to purchase an external one

I was Skeptical at first I admit but I wanted to buy it to play older games like Sims 1 and don’t plan on using the internet. Despite learning that newer versions of origin and Norton don’t work on it. I absolutely am satisfied all around.It runs great and it’s fast well as fast as Windows XP can go. Thank so much for this awesome product and experience! Also I don’t normally write reviews but I couldn’t resist! Thank you people at student life.Side note it was wrapped in plastic and lots of bubble wrap in a box :P
