Very nice quality as expected, but room for improvement
This is not my 1st hoto product and won't be my last. Overall quality is top notch. However, I feel that they sometimes focus on cool new features for the sake of it, and overlook some practicality or efficiency. The case desigh is cool for keeping everything together, but its unnecessary. Why would I ever want to separate them? Why not a single solid case with a slot for the tool? Also, the little plastic doors are surprisingly flimsy compared to everything else. The pictures show everything nice and neatly organized but in reality everything is just randomly rolling around in each compartment. This tool is PERFECT for detailing 3d printed models and cleaning up edges, which is why I got it. But I also needed to sand some wood and grabbed a bit from an existing set I had to realize this only has one chuck size, and it is teeny tiny. Major letdown in regards to compatibility.I do love that i can use it cordless or plugged in.Overall, I do not regret Drexel. It does have a dedicated application for me, but it does not replace my dremel.

Unique Case Design
This R-A04 mini cordless rotary tool comes with a Snapbloq magnetic accessory case that also has a slot for the tool itself. If one already has other SnapBloq cases, then this will fit right in with them. I do not have any others, and I find it a unique and interesting design. I do wish though that the bits would be held in place inside the case rather than just rolling around in their individual partitions and possibly banging the bit heads against each other along with against the walls during transport. The 38 bits and accessories included are a decent quality though and usable and have shanks of 2.35mm (3/32").The tightening function on the rotary tool works just fine and holds the bits well. It does have a collet inside that clamps down on the bits when tightened. I would have liked to have additional collets included, so that the tool could be used with smaller drill bits as well. The tool is lightweight and easy to hold, but it is obviously underpowered compared to larger rotary machines. But for its size, it has a decent amount of torque and power, and the battery seems to be pretty good.I would have preferred it to have a display that included the current speed and battery level. The speed slider does adjust the speed but not by very much from 15000 to 22000rpms. I would prefer it to be able to go down to a lower range say from 6000 to 22000rpm range. There is only a blinking light on the back where the unprotected USB-C port is, which blinks when charging and then goes out when fully charged. I would prefer it to just be a solid light to indicate a full charge, because with no light I am just left wondering if it was fully charged. The instructions are basic, and it would be good if it explained the use of the various bits and accessories versus materials for beginners. There is no place to store the charging cord in the case though. This easy-to-use mini rotary tool would be good for small crafts and miniatures. The case does look fancy and is a good quality. If one already uses other Snapbloq cases/tools, then this addition is an easy choice.

Needs improvement
This photo is what the set will really look like - the bits and accessories sit in loose trays. It would be a disaster if you bumped this set into something too hard, or if it fell. It would come apart and these pieces would be all over the place. The trays are held by magnets and come apart very easily. A simple latch to secure the whole system would be easy to add and improve this whole series tremendously, and actually make it portable. As such, this is a home tool, and one that you'll want to be careful with even when moving around the house.

Handy, Light, and Gets the Job Done
What I like first is that I can carry this mini cordless rotary tool kit with me wherever I go. I work from home and on the go, and this week my daughter is putting out a lot of my handmade products in her store, so sometimes I’m creating things right in the back office. It’s really easy to use, which is exactly what I was looking for, easy on my hands and fingers. I also like that everything is color-coded and labeled, so there’s no guessing. It makes the job quicker and more organized. One thing I’ll mention (and maybe it’s just me) is that the case is a little tough to open. So when I’m working, I usually just leave it open until I’m done. I keep it charged ahead of time, and I like that I can tell when it’s running low so there’s no surprise shutoff in the middle of a project.
