The core wooden chopping board is nice (albeit small) but the tray is slightly gimmicky and I have doubts about how long it will last. There are better implementations (from different companies) of this type of dual-purpose board.I would agree with others who say that the deep grooves (for the Joe Wicks logo) are likely to be a bacteria magnet in the longer term which will, I'm sure, turn black over time. This could have been implemented better.

This Joe Wicks chopping board unsurprisingly comes from a whole co-ordinated series of kitchen products which you can acquire if you want to match them or avoid if you find the branding rather over the top. This board is the 'Small' size and is 2 cm thick, 30 cm long and 20 cm wide (25 cm with the tray). The dimensions really define the board's use so this perfect for fine chopping vegetables like onions and mushrooms which can then be pushed into the tray to drop straight into the pan. If you are working with larger cuts of meat or fish you will need a bigger size.Similarly it would very well with salad items, herbs, garlic etc. I use it for stir fry preparation which works well. The silicone tray idea is good, but the joint is not quite flush to the board so very small shreds of food might get through.Washing the board is easy enough-so far food odours do not linger after cleansing. All in all, a useful product, but the price point is on the high side for a crowded market place.

Brilliant little chopping board with a detachable tray for scraps / meal preparation. Lightweight. The tray washes easily and doesn't seem to hold odours of strong smelling foods. The branding is a little much.

This is quite a small chopping board with a plastic tray attached.The tray is detachable so that you can pour in your ingredients to your cooking pan.To be honest I do not feel a real need for such a feature and I am probably going to remove the tray and just use it as a chopping board.Bit gimmicky but all well made and not bad a price.

This chopping board is an unusual design with its detachable tray. It is a small to medium sized chopping board. The tray is easy to detach. I am not sure that I need the detachable tray though. I have never had trouble separating ingredients etc and I am finding it is perhaps just a step too far for me and a little unnecessary.However, those who like their kitchen gadgets may very well like this!
