Fruit of the Loom Women's Multi-Pack Front Close Sports Bra

Honestly, I wasn't expecting these to be so nice. I have a drawer full of bras. Ones to wear around and ones to wear out. So when I put this one on, I was so surprised to find that the sizing was perfect. The best part is I don't even realize I'm wearing one. They are very soft and the colors are nice. What a value

I bought these almost a year ago, and I honestly love them. I’ve used them a lot and I still wear them after my breast lift. They’re very comfortable, they don’t feel too tight, and they’re not uncomfortable even after wearing them for several hours. They’ve been really helpful for me, especially when it comes to comfort and support. After almost a year of use, they’re still in good condition. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend them.

I'm gonna do the LONG version. Bear with me. I am an obese, middle aged woman with a slew of health issues that make everything more difficult. I had a breast reduction almost 10 years ago, and assumed I went from a 44 DD - DDD to a 44 large B or small C. My most recent detailed measurements from ABraThatFits subreddit, coupled with research around the web suggests otherwise! According to my new calculations I am a 48 - 52 D - H ??? My actual under bust measurement (sitting) is 46.5". I sit most of the time and am disabled... Criss Cross applesauce is my most comfortable position, so I took my measurements sitting like that for maximum comfort. After my reduction surgery, I decided I was done with underwires forever, and bought a bunch of Bali bras in 42C. I still have all those bras, but the back would always slide up, and the molded cups would look weird if I moved a certain way and the girls and the bra weren't moving together, so there were empty air pockets half deflated now and then. WEIRD! They were otherwise comfortable, but snagged and pilled a ton, and aren't so comfortable anymore. Here are my issues with almost ALL bras (and underwear and clothes in general) - they're almost all synthetic materials (polyester, nylon, polyamide, elastane, etc) and I have hyperhidrosis (excessively sweaty all the time, and all over my body), and eczema (since infancy), fibromyalgia, and several autoimmune disorders. Synthetic fabrics don't breathe, so I sweat worse wearing them, which 1. Stinks no matter how clean I am and 2. Causes intertrigo (yeast in skin folds) under the girls and other places. It's become such a battle that about 5 years ago, I gave up on bras completely! I'd only put one on if we were visiting family or friends, and that's it. I'd come home, whip it off, and have deep red-purple marks where the band dug in, even though the back rode up constantly. OUCH! Well, with no bra, the pressure pain and redness was gone completely, but the intertrigo stayed the same from constant skin on skin contact. And the skin got thinner, and shinier, and pinker, and now my reduction scars are becoming thick in spots! So whenever I'd feel a bit sweaty, or feel the chafing beginning, I'd tuck my cotton, modal or bamboo shirts up under the girls!!! But that's not a long term solution, and can't be done out of the house. LOL Two weeks ago I began trying to find bras or bralette that were 1. Natural fiber (bamboo, tencel, cotton, modal, viscose, rayon, etc), 2. Came in plus sizes, 3. Had decent reviews, and 4. Didn't cost a small fortune. Separation and lift would have been great, but I haven't found that yet. I also did all the sizing research. Did you know that you're supposed to add 4 inches to your under breast measurement to get your band size (in some brands)? I need bras that don't dig, so the last few bras I got were 44 bands or 3XL size - I thought since my old bras were 42, my ribcage must be 42, and a 44 should be extra, right? And a 3XL is typically 22-24 women's plus size (and works perfect or is slightly baggy in tops and dresses on me), so...? WRONG. So, I came to the conclusion that for comfort, I need a bra with at least a 48 inch band. And this is my first arrival of 2 types I ordered. :) For reference: I am 5' 7", 250 lbs, 47 years old and have an apple shaped body - big in the middle/stomach, narrow hips and shoulders, average size arms, legs, and thin/skinny/narrow hands and feet. My rib cage protrudes a lot more under my breasts than the average person. I don't know why, but my theory is that since I've had chronic severe asthma since I was a newborn, maybe the struggle to breathe made them grow or set weird? But because of that, my breasts sit right on top of my ribs, and always have. Longline bras, or bras with a wide band are a huge no go, because first they dig in painfully, and then they roll or fold up and cause even more pressure pain and irritation of the skin under my breasts. This bra is stretchy enough to conform to my body, but still offers some support. It's thin cotton, that's moderately soft. I haven't had any issue with the shoulder straps being too long or too short, but they aren't adjustable... for me they're staying put and not slipping, and not digging in either. The band is comfortable so far, and I'd guess it's 1/2 - 3/4 inch wide. There are 8 hooks on mine, which is a LOT... probably overkill for my needs, but having the front closure is a bonus. I don't need to be contorting my body to get it on or off, or clasping in the front and then having to twist it around to the back to put it on right. The back feels supportive and like it's staying in place, and almost feels like I'm wearing a snug (not tight) tank top, in a nice way! It's got a scoop neck shape to it on the front and back, but on me (because I don't have huge breasts anymore), the top edge sits a bit high for most of my clothes. 90% of my tops and dresses are V necks or wrap styles, so I won't be able to wear this bra with those. But for errands, or lounging around the house, and even sleep, it's near perfect! I do get a small amount of separation, but nothing close to a molded or soft cup, underwire or wrap/crisscross bra would provide. The best part is that I have no sticky, icky, stinky, gross, itchy, burning under breast stuff going on at all today! That's worth the small price I paid for 2 bras any day! I'm guessing time will tell how it goes in the long run with this bra. I'm guessing once it's hot and/or humid and I'm outside, the cotton would probably soak up my sweat and get soggy pretty quickly. I'm thinking over time it may stretch out with wear, maybe warp in the wash (which happens with cheap clothing, even if you do wash on gentle, with cold water and hang dry things), but I won't know for a while. I did notice a couple of tiny scratchy bits around the bottom band at the seams, but don't think I can do anything about it. It seems to be the thread they sewed it with was stiffer, synthetic and either cut off bluntly and not flush OR melted at the ends? Hopefully it goes away after a wash. I'll update if anything changes drastically, but for now I'll say that it's well worth the $9.46 I paid for TWO bras! I did go with the biggest size, which was a 48, in black and beige. I just looked and today it's $17+ ? Things that make ya go 'hmmmm'... Anyways, if you can find a set of 2 for under $15, I'd say to give it a whirl! :)

These are the only bras I’ll wear since my breast reduction. I sleep in these aswell. It’s been the only bras that have been comfortable to me the front latches are practical and easy to use. the material is a nice Soft comfy cotton. They wash really well, will attach to more comfort with a days wear but wash and they go right back to new. Good value for money. Feels like loungewear for around the house but I wouldn’t do vigorous exercise in these. You can wear them with or without cups and for my own comfort I normally wear them without and I feel like they provide enough coverage for me. For reference I’m a 42 DD.

These bras work great for after surgery wear. They are 95% cotton, which is great. The three pack comes with one bra with pads. The pads are removable through an opening in the side. You can use the pads in all three bras. It is not hard to remove or insert. There is a protective flap of fabric where the hooks are in front. As long as you make sure it's not folded, it works great. It offers the right amount of compression and support without underwires. Which I'm not allowed to wear right now. These are a great value considering most compression bras are expensive and aren't made of cotton. These bras are very comfortable. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend these, especially if you have sensitive skin, like me.

I have saggy, mom boobs, so if anyone can relate, I hope this review might help you! Upon considering breast surgery, I was told I would need a few good front-closure sports bras. Before then, I didn't even know such bra existed (sheltered, I know). I bought 5 front-closure sports bras and want to compare / contrast them so you don't have to buy so many to find which one (or ones) you want. If it helps, here are my opinions (and I didn't get any of these for free of discounted, by the way - paid full price!): 1.) Fruit of the Loom Clasp-front Bra (This Bra) With SIX clasps, this all-cotton bra seems sturdy, but provides little to no support. It's very comfortable like at-shirt and feels much more like a sleep bra than anything you can actively wear during the day if you want your breasts to not sag. It's not padded, just lined with a white cotton liner fabric. With my d-cup breasts, I wouldn't wear it for exercise of any kind, even if doubled up. Best left in the bedroom. 2.) Carol Martin Full Freedom clasp-front bra ( Carole Martin Full-Freedom Comfort Bra -36 Black ) which is more of a sleep bra than a sports bra but with a 4.3 stars out of 2,000 reviews, I bought it anyway. Wins the award for the most comfortable, forget you're wearing a bra! But it has zero support and although the lace flap covering the claps is a pretty touch, it does make it a little difficult to hook all 5 hooks with the lace in the way. That being said, it's so stinkin' comfortable, I don't care about the lace problem : I have worn this bra to bed every single night since I received it! 3.) Jockey Zip-front bra ( Jockey Women's Zip Front Seam Free Bra, Deep Black Space Dye, Large ) Padded inserts for flattering shape, this bra WOULD have been my favorite of them all because of the no-pinch cloth flap under the zipper, coupled with the silver hook half way up the zipper, which is a HUGE help in trying to zip this by yourself, BUT I found the non-locking zipper to be a pretty major setback! As in, the zipper comes down by itself! I alleviated the problem by wearing another bra under this one and that seemed to reduce the strain enough so that the zipper stays put. 4.) Wanayou Zip-front Bra ( Women's Zip Front Sports Bra Wireless High Impact Active Yoga Sports Bras (XL:Fit 34D,36B,36C,38A,38B,38C, Purple) ) claiming to be for "post-surgery" I got the purple one but it is more of a "crayola" true purple than the mauve-purple shown in the seller's pics. I like the zipper covers on the top and bottom which are great for comfort, but a little lumpy-looking under a shirt. The pad inserts are nice to give a little shape and the zipper is amazing for reducing the dreaded uniboob! It is also one of the best for support, but I would still say only low to medium impact for smaller cupped women. As a D-cup, I wear this bra either doubled up with another bra or with a Boobuddy ( Boobuddy Adjustable Breast Support Band Sports Bra Alternative, Pink ). 5.) AM Clothes zip-front bra ( Womens Racerback Wirefree Sports Bra, 34C/34D/36A/36B/36C, Rose Red ) - Anyway, this bra is so similar to the Wanayou zip-front bra, that I had to check the packaging to differentiate. Much of the same applies: It has nice zipper covers on the top and bottom for comfort, but a little lumpy-looking under a shirt. It has pad inserts for shape and the zipper reduces the dreaded uniboob! It is also one of the best for support, but I would still say only low to medium impact for smaller cupped women. As a D-cup, I wear this bra either doubled up with another bra or with a Boobuddy. I am also including pics of the bra closed and partially opened, so you can see how much it actually pulls my breast together and it might give you an idea of the strength / support, I hope. Anyway, since shopping for bras when you have "mom boobs" is a tough decision, I hope this review helped! ************ UPDATE January 2019 ********************* I feel differently about this bra now. I used to use it during sleep, but it is so difficult to close with seemingly a million clasps but worst of all, the bottom clasp is not low enough so there is a cloth flap on both sides that becomes itchy and annoying when wearing for longer than a few minutes. Now, it's a sleep bra of last resort, and then only if I put something (cloth, etc.) between it ans my skin. Bummer.

Literally the most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn! I’ve been looking for a front closure bra since I have some mobility issues and can’t reach behind my back. This bra is super least to get on and fasten! It’s SO comfortable, too! It fits great, covers everything, and is so cute. I love the color options, and the padding is just right - not enough to add any thickness, but covers enough to keep everything smooth. Highly recommend it! I’m a 48C, and the largest size works perfectly!!

I originally bought a 2-pack of these front close bras and was really happy to have found something with a high cotton content - I like the feel of natural fabric and it's tough to find. A size 36 fits a 34DD pretty well. These are NOT super supportive if you are a larger bra size. I use them to wear under PJs when lounging around the house for a little extra support. I personally would not wear them out, and never ever for high impact sports. For lounging/yoga, they're fine and comfy. I recently bought a 3-pack and was surprised that they were padded. I really hate bra pads (have more than what I want up there already!), and these pads are THICK. The pocket openings also make the bra less supportive--so not a winner for me. Also, the 3-pack bras fit about a 1/2 size larger than the 2 pack. That said, they're going to provide some modesty if one was to wear the bra out of the house, so some folks may like the pads. There's only one pad, so you would have to change it between the 3 different bras. Not an issue for me, as I sent them back. I bought another 2 pack and was happy to find that they were unpadded! Unfortunately, only one of the bras was the 95% cotton, the other was only 54% cotton (ugh!!). I didn't like the synthetic feel to that at all, and likely won't use it. So, the takeaways are: --If you like pads, get the 3-pack. If you don't like pads, get the 2-pack --The 3-pack bras fit 1/2 size larger than the 2 pack (if you're between sizes) --The heathery colors are often a synthetic blend, so if cotton is your goal, try to choose solid colors I really like these bras and hope FOTL will keep making them in cotton fabric, but updating the listings with relevant information would really cut down on unnecessary buying and returns!

Best shaped and most comfortable wire-free cotton bras I have ever worn. I will be stocking up on these!

Solo uno trae copas, así que si tendrías que ponérselas cada que cambies. La tela es suave y son cömodos

Always love Fruit of the Loom high percentage cotton sport bras. However this pack had one bras that is labelled 57% cotton/ 38% polyester and 5% spandex. Wonder if it is just mislabelling or Fruit of the Loom is moving to cotton blend in future.
