SkechersMen's Nampa Food Service Shoe

As I night custodial engineer, working for the school district, I spend a substantial amount of time on my feet traversing the length and breadth of the school. In order to perform in my job, I need a pair of shoes that are sturdy, durable, comfortable, provide support, and are slip resistant. These shoes fit the bill on all accounts. The memory foam provides the perfect fit. They are a quality shoe that I have repetitively purchased over the last 12 years. I have worn them seven out of seven days a week and they generally last from one year to a year and a half. That is saying a lot considering the winters we get here in Minnesota. Aesthetically, they look great and can be worn with jeans, khakis, or a security guard uniform.

These shoes work great for my service industry side-job. They are very comfortable and truly are non-slip. One thing I noticed with these, though, is that I had to order a "wide" size. I have always worn a 10.5 and, in these, I need a 10.5W. I've never had to do that before but when I got these they were simply too narrow in the toe area. I returned the first pair and got the wide version and they fit perfectly. The memory foam sole really provides a great deal of cushion for those long days. I can be on my feet anywhere from 8-14 hours a day, four days a week at the bar/restaurant I work at. These things make it a heck of a lot easier on my feet. As a bonus, these add about an inch to my height with their nice, thick sole. Skechers really does make a solid work shoe. And the price is right.

For restaurant work. Great job-slip shoe. Need thick sock so the tongue doesn’t rub, otherwise comfortable. Needed cause shoe and this meets that need. Hopefully it holds up as others have mentioned concerns in this area but so far so good (a few weeks in).

These are the nicest shoes. They are lightweight and comfortable. They are slip resistant in my restaurant work. Great functionality. I recommend these shoes especially if you wait tables. Good price. They last about a year if your are a server.

My son works in a grocery store and we've bought these twice because they are so comfortable. The first pair lasted over 2 years so they are really affordable for the durability.

Good price,nice apperance and comfortable. But did not last a year, when they started to separate,the top of the shoe where its joined to the sole...not a good quality product.
