OXO Good Grips Baking Spatula

Item arrived within a day or so of ordering ( via Prime ) . It is as described and i can see it will do the job perfectly . I have pruchased this item for a craft project mixing alginate but i do lot of cooking and i can change mind and use this for cake baking and such and this is flexible , got a good grip handle . wont slip out my hand if its got cooking stuff on that ..all in all ok buy ..could of been cheaper though ..i was in a hurry to purchase ..

The first time I used this was to remove a small piece of baked chicken from a baking sheet. The heat and/or weight of the chicken bent the spatula & the piece of chicken hit the countertop, slid down the cupboard door, & ended up on the floor. Not a very good impression! The spatula felt comfortable in my grasp, however, I could feel the heat of the baking sheet as I used the spatula. There is not enough rise in the handle from the spatula base. It's a reasonable price & it's a nice looking spatula, but I would not recommend it to friends or family who are in need of a small spatula. It would probably work quite well to remove a piece of cake or a brownie from a pan, but I wouldn't use it to remove baked cookies from a cookie sheet or on anything hot.

This is a really useful little tool but not at all what I was expecting. It's a very thick plastic spatula with no flex. I'd say its more useful for lifting smaller cakes and as a cake knife/server. Don't buy if ours looking for something to smooth icing or similar as this is nothing like a pallet knife

Excellent spatula. I thought it's going to be unnecessary item in my kitchen draw, but I have to admit it is a essential item when I m baking. Very useful. I can create perfect brownies.

This is a fantastic little tool, ideal for getting brownies out of tin, and as it is plastic it will not scratch or damage non stick coatings of cake tins.

It picks up sticky things so you can lay them on a rack until they're not so sticky anymore. I would recommend it to someone who is desirous of such a feature.

I am an OXO fan not just the gravy. Some items are a little pricey but they are always excellent quality.
