Donco KidsClubhouse Full Low Caster Bed in Driftwood Finish

We waited a bit for this to arrive (special delivery due to size an weight), but it was much nicer and heavier than I anticipated. Everything was packaged to sustain even poor handling. I spent more time breaking down the waste than assembling this unit that came in three different boxes. The finish on the pieces was beyond painted and borderline artistic and finished in what appeared to be a semi-gloss clear.Not too many pieces to deal with; two ladder ends; two support rails; the large façade; back rail and slats. Hardware was heavy-duty and with the Hex-bit that I had in a cordless drill (recommended) assembly went very quickly. Assembled unit was very solid and sturdy. Zero concern regarding child-play damaging or cracking it. My only concern is that the tall façade does indeed make one side of the unit more heavy. Placed in the back... no problem. Placed in the front (like mine) I am considering attaching it to the wall with a safety strap. Can a small child make this tip forward? Not likely, but several children on top playing could be a concern.Would definitely recommend this unit.

Received bed and assembled in a couple of hours.Very pleased with the bed!

My only complaint is one piece is a different color than the rest. Otherwise, it was easy to put together and my 5&3 year olds love it. We got a queen under it (a tight squeeze when changing sheets but doable). Perfect bunk bed for littles because it’s not too high.

I got this bed so our daughter can have sleepovers. Her queen bed fits underneath (perpendicular), but her headboard has to be out in the open with her foot of the bed underneath the bunk. (There's not much clearance, and her bed is a lower platform-style bed. Higher beds probably won't give you enough clearance.)Bed was delivered in a large truck, secured on a full-sized pallet. We had them park the pallet under our carport and then we unwrapped the bundle and brought the boxes in individually - definitely a two person job. Instructions were easy to follow and we had no assembly problems - again, definitely a two person job. Bed is very sturdy and the quality is much better than I imagined. We found this bed here about half as expensive as anywhere else.The only complaint that I have is that it had a strong paint smell that took a couple of months to go away completely.

Bought this for my 5 year old; it is very easy to assemble and super cute. However, I found it is on the flimsy side. it makes noises when my little boy climbs up, he is only 44lbs. I had to buy the bottom full size bed from a different seller, but just be mind full, you will need a super low profile bed and mattress if you are planning to have a bed on the bottom. Distance from the floor to the top is very short. Overall, it is a good bed, but will not recommend for any kids older than 7.

I totally got screwed! I didn’t receive the 3 boxes. Because It was past 30 days, no return, no refund and no help. I spent $750+ For 2 end pieces and the slates to the bed. Beware!!!

the bed was easy to assemble. when assembling, I noticed that the two sides are made of sturdy wood. the largest piece, with the window, is made with thin and light material. I assume that they did this to keep the weight down. my child weighs about 64 lbs. She moves a lot in the bed and it does not shake. Under the bed you could fit a queen mattress with some space left. But we had to remove the bed off the metal frame, I have the mattress on the mattress box and it is not too comfortable. Not too much space. This bed is gorgeous and looks hand made. This bed can be for a boy or a girl. I would highly recommend!
