No, I do not have cleaners. The player eats batteries like popcorn. Batteries only last for 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Have to take the batteries out after a half hour use and put back when ready to use again or the batteries go dead. Not a good buy.

Type I tapes. Anything made for cassette tapes after 2010 are gonna play type I tapes.

Can this record am/fm radio? Record while listening to songs

The above answer is incorrect. The cassette player WILL and does easily record the function of the am/fm radio over to the cassette while the mode select switch is in the “Radio” function, and the record + play button are depressed with a blank tape inside it. I just tested it with mine after reading this question and it recorded the radio to my type 1 cassette. May not work on chrome or metal however, not sure.

Hi, V.A.S. stands for voice activated system. When this button is pressed, the tape will automatically start rolling and recording with voice or environmental sound exceeds certain db level. Also, the recording will automatically stop when sound is under certain db level. This function will help to save tapes.
