Mackie HM-400 4-Channel Headphone Amplifier

Perfect, just what I needed. Love that you get 4 channels with aux mix blend control and 3 headphone outs per channel. Bass & treble control and main outs as well. Works great, nice clean and plenty loud.

This is a very high output headphone Distribution amp with many input and output options. Work great for my Recording studio.

Excellent quality and functionality. Made my headphones sound better and fuller. Love the ability to power multiple headphones with strategically placed inserts.

It did exactly what it said it was going to do! Easy set up, easy tuning. Great product!

For me, there are several major issues with this headphone. 1. Input level knob wasn't fine grained enough to get proper signal level without distoring. There are subtle click levels to the knob when you turn it and its the click level that gets in the way of setting the right inout level. Otherwise, the volume was too low to compensate by headphone volume level. Super frustrating. 2. The aux inputs are on the front, instead of the rear, like for most rackmount gear. I didnt want my tracking input out front, exposing my multichannel snake connectors to more jostling than I wanted all because they get in the way of the headphone outs and volume knobs. 3. Volume output was rather wimpy. I remember the headphone amp on their old 1604 mixer was more powerful and didnt clip/distort as easily as this does.While this may work for someone else's equipment and setup, this was didn't work for me at all and was a big disappointment.
