Bulb No Longer Works As App Removed From AppStore?!
I’d give less if I could. Lumenty has been the best bulbs I’ve ever had; I’ve purchased 2 of them after trying countless other brands. The app was so intuitive and I loved the various color modes. I purchased a second bulb in April as I had to move back home (college shutdown, moved out of dorms and thus no access to my bulb) and I loved it and put it on my nightstand. Then last week or so I noticed the app wouldn’t load, and today I tried again so I could change the color mode and it says it’s no longer in the App Store! What happened?! I’m so, so, so disappointed. The bulbs aren’t cheap but were worth it to me due to the product being so great. If anyone involved can message me regarding the bulbs and when the app will return to the App Store, I’d appreciate it and return my rating to 5 stars. Otherwise I will be asking for a refund on my money due to the product being stripped bare from all of its capabilities which is why I purchased it in the first place. Thank you.

Great App (iOS)! Best priced compact sunrise alarm clock that travels!
Originally purchased the BT Lumenty smart bulb for the sunrise alarm clock light feature. I did a lot of research on sunrise light alarm clocks and they are terribly expensive or too cheap to be any good bulky poorly designed etc. I try to be a conscious consumer, so should we all... right?PROSWorks consistently (iOS)App is great - very easy to navigate and use.Can submit tickets through the app - I submitted one asking how to delete a random BT bulb that happened to show up in my app. A few days later the feature was there. Submitted another feature request for candle light flickering mood setting. We shall see if they can come up with something.2 year warranty - very importantI can take the bulbs on the road/travels and still use them as a travel sunrise alarm. BOOM!They have an actual website which to me means they are more than just another cheap knockoff drop ship fly by night companyCONS (or semi-cons)if you're a terribly impatient person the BT bulbs can take like 3 Mississippi seconds to connect or register when you launch the appthe orange spectrum is quite limited. The bulb is very good at reproducing true RGB and white but hues between are... kinda OK. LEDs... whatcha gonna do?Not terribly bright - I have two bulbs in my bedroom (approximately 20'Wx20'Lx12'H) and they are great for sunrise alarm and mood lighting but two bulbs cannot brightly illuminate the entire room... 4 might be able to.

It works sometimes. The app is super buggy
Unlike the Wi-Fi version made by the same company, the Bluetooth one actually works...well....some of the time, not always. Sometimes you will have to close the app, shutting off bluetooth, then re-enabling it, opening the app again... It is a lot of trial and error and gets frustrating. I wish they would fix the bugs on the app.Previous review: I tried everything. Reset it a bunch of times, for some reason it simply didn't want to connect to my Wi-Fi. I was told to contact support over the Google Store lol ...what a joke9/28/18 Update: The company's owner reached out to me addressing all my concerns, and promised to include an update that will resolve the issues I have been experiencing, he seemed very serious about it and did his best to make sure I had a positive experience with the product. It says a lot about them and I they have won my respect. I will update soon if they do in fact provide the update that will allow me to use the product

Great color, no WiFi needed to control
What a wonderful bulb for the price! I’m a photographer and this works better than LIFX when off site. With this bluetooth bulb I don’t have to connect to WiFi for it to work. Nice!The other thing I like it that the colors are vibrant. The white light isn’t high on the RSI scale so I wouldn’t use it for a key light but definitely for a colorful hair light.

Bluetooth app not much better than wifi for these smartbulbs
I first ordered the wifi version...the app was so buggy and crappy, very disappointed, I got it to hook up once out of a dozen times. Strange because the hardware is high quality. I tried the bluetooth version and same problem, could not get it work with my phone, or Alexa. Ended up returning them both. I went out and bought the MagicLight smart bulb. The MagicLight software works flawlessly! Ironically, the Magiclight software (bluetooth) controls the Lumenty bulb better than the Lumenty software ! They need to fire their software guys and give the hardware guys a raise. My complaints are consistent with other reviews. Amazing to see such a high quality product with lousy software app.

Awesome and relatively inexpensive
I wanted a smart rgb lighting solution with the need of an additional hub or the price. I also wanted something that could be operated off of Bluetooth and this thing delivered. It was as easy as taking it out of the box, popping it into the fixture, downloading the app and it instantly picked it up and I was able to do as I pleased with it. Looks great with the option to change color, brightness and set scenes, as well as effects. A cool added bonus is that it stays set to whatever it was last set to when you turn it off and on. Well worth it and I'll gladly pick up more when the need or desire comes.
